The Internet loves conspiracy theories and the internet loves Tim Tebow, so it was only a matter of time before someone decided to combine the two things -- and that's exactly what happened on Wednesday when someone wrote an insanely long email to Tebow's new teammate: Eagles offensive lineman Evan Mathis. The first question you probably have is: When did people start emailing their Tim Tebow conspiracy theories to Evan Mathis? I have no idea, but it happened and Mathis generously decided to share it with the world. Our conspiracy theorist believes that the NFL is a tool of the New World Order and that the league is trying to hold Tebow down while propping up other players like uses Michael Sam, who's not even in the league anymore. Let's not stop there though. Next, our conspiracy theorist brings John Elway into this. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like NFL defensive coordinators would have been the opposite of threatened by a Tebow-Lloyd pass catching combination. Anyway, back to our conspiracy theorist, who believes the Broncos were purposely calling bad plays in 2011 to hinder Tebow. Take that Steelers fans: TEBOW WOULD HAVE BEAT YOU BY 20 if not for poor coaching. Now back to the manifesto. Just when you think this guy's going to talk about Tebow's career in Denver the entire time, he drops a bomb on us. You hear that Roger Goodell? This guys on to you. Now I know what you're thinking, "How did this guy even get Mathis' email address and once he got it, why did he send this nonsense to Mathis?" Evan? Mathis should probably change his email address. The NFL is a tool of the New World Order so they are not using its popularity to teach Americans Marxist PC social lessons like Christianity is unacceptable and homosexuality is wonderful via Michael Sam and Tebow. The NFL actually called around the league to try to get a team to take Michael Sam, which is blatant collusion and against the rules. If they would collude for Sam, then it not stretch that they would collude against Tebow.
In 2011, John Elway was trying to sabotage Tebow every step of the way. They put him behind inferior QBs on the depth chart and then trade his best receiver Brandon Lloyd away when Tebow was named starter. Tebow and Lloyd had success together in 2010.
Part of Tebow's late game success was also that [Denver] called very predictable plays for the first three quarters to sabotage Tebow. It was only at the end of games that they let up because it would be too obvious otherwise. Even in that playoff game vs. [the Steelers] they had 20 points at halftime and went super conservative in the second half to stifle Tebow before the eventual OT score. They could have put up 30 or 35 otherwise.
Tebow's time with the Jets was to get him to NYC to get him to sell-out and join the Illuminati/New World Order.

Sounds like something Liberator would write. He worships Tebow and sees politics and religion in professional football which is all about money and winning (same thing).

When did people start emailing their Tim Tebow conspiracy theories to Evan Mathis? When? Or why? Anti-conspiracy theorists and tools usually weave *some* idiocy and implausibility along with truth. It's a ploy the devil himself has used since Eden. It's a simple ploy that's been used to discredit the core truth of any given *obvious* conspiracy or truth. Of course predictably, the "author" goes off the rails and is paranoid and disjointed at several points of his "manifesto." After all -- what's a "conspiracy" without a caricatured "kook," right? I guess....the point to this absurd exercise is that the email "proves" what a circus the NFL would be with Tim Tebow's "baggage" and obsessed, insane fanbois.

THIS issue isn't so much about Tebow's supposed lack of skill as much as hostile outside external forces influencing NFL ownership and personnel and depriving the guy of playing. In other words, yes, the openly Christian and QB with a winning record -- Tim Tebow -- *has* been blackballed by un-named external forces. Yet oddly enough, Michael Sam, outspoken, unskilled homo LB was *promoted*. Some un-named external forces begged the NFL to draft him. Yeah -- WHAT "religion and politics" in the NFL, Fred?
You should join dKos. Everything from weather storms, police shootings, oil drilling and hangnails have a political spin to them. It's a friggin' football game for goodness sake!

Pointing out inconsistencies in how players are handled by the media and sports executives is not 'worship.' It's giving the man a fair hearing in public opinion. Some were pointing out the weaknesses of Tebow and how he was not NFL quality. I have to say that was an astute observation from someone who understood early American history. Yet Roosevelt himself decided to use the same motivation to implement socialism. I was tugging at ya a bit with the NWO "CT" thing. I know Bildeberg is coming soon and I don't want to miss your 'coverage' of the event:) Yes, there are clearly power and money brokers pulling a lot of strings. However there are two if not multiple polar points vying for their version of the NWO. In some cases, they try to bury the other and in some cases form alliances when convenient. But a one NWO movement, we are not there....yet. That will come in time. Until then you have various factions jockeying for the One Ring of power.

I've been on the walks and fund raising as a supporter and as a survivor. Komen has become politicized like many other charities. What started as good intentions led to largess.

It *should* be just "a friggin' football game." But too much power has been created in sports not to be exploit for nefarious purposes. Even the simple joy of watching purely a game has been co-opted. Sports is show-biz. And anyway college/pro sports aren't "games" anymore; they've become religions onto themselves and border-like cults. The best pure-sports game: HOCKEY.

I tend to agree in general although I'd use the word money vs. power. Whenever big money is involved, watch out for shady dealings. That includes horse racing, my fave sport these days. When college student-athletes are driving Escalades and other fancy types, one has to wonder who's footing the bill.

I think politics and sports mirror each other in their approaches. Pro sports are the top of the totem pole; they have college athletes to choose from, farm teams for baseball, basketball, football and the others. The political/NWO landscape has their own sort of farm team system - Rhodes Scholars, Pell Grant winners and the rest of those sorts of scholarships for selecting, brainwashing and grooming hundreds of future prospects. When the time comes they can select their fair haired boyz/girlz from the pool to step up and advance their agenda - ergo, place them on the winning team. Okay, I'm finished with my kooky theories for today. I've got to run some errands.
