A new CNN national poll of the GOP presidential primary reveals that Cruz, who surged following his announcement in March, is already back in his familiar single digits, polling a paltry 7%. Bush: 17%
Walker: 12%
Paul: 11%
Rubio: 11%
Huckabee: 9%
Cruz: 7%

These polls are completely meaningless so early. I see Rubio in the "top tier" but I don't see that he's gotten any real bump from his rollout.
Imagine what happens when Jeb drops out, throwing his support to Rubio... President Clinton.
Rubio may be intending to drop out of the race in time to file for his Senate office again. From what I can google, it seems that Floriduh's deadline to file for U.S. Senate (or other federal offices) is May 6, 2016. To qualify for office, the candidate only has to collect 119,000 signatures from voters. That can't be too hard to do. So Rubio can easily run in 2015 through early 2016, then file for Senate again so he can keep his Senate gig until 2020 when he can claim the title of "the guy from last time" that so often describes the GOP presidential nominee. Rubio will take a (long) shot at running for prez in 2016. When/if it fails, he suddenly decides the country needs him in the Senate so much that he drops out of the race for prez and files for re-election to the Senate, taking his campaign warchest with him. Then in 2020, tanned/rested/ready, he runs again for prez.
Where he will lose to Hillary's second term run.

You can't run for the Senate and VP at the same time either. Rubio is wanting to be Bush's VP. He will drop out and endorse Bush. Bush sucks Rubio sucks Chrisie Sucks Huckabee sucks
Shouldn't we concentrate on losing in 2016 before we start losing in 2020? Not that I'm saying you're a little pessimistic or anything...
The only place where Rubio helps any other GOP candidates are where Bush will need no help from Rubio. Bush only needs Rubio out, not his endorsement. One of them would have to move out of Florida before Rubio could be Bush's VP. Recall how Cheney had to "move" back to Wyoming to be Bush's VP.
Not that I'm saying you're a little pessimistic or anything... Go ahead, keep your hope alive. Perhaps you can encourage my near term outlook by telling me who in the REP zoo of candidates will beat Hillary, especially when about 60% of women voters will check her box.
