Anti-police protesters are at it again trying to win hearts and minds by preventing people from going about their day.
The “Black Lives Matter” protesters took to the streets of Chicago, New York and other cities Tuesday and used the hashtag #ShutDownA14 to trumpet their exploits on social media.
According to a news release by stopmassincarceration.net, the intention is to shut down schools and businesses and “disrupt business as usual.”
“More than 90 unarmed people have been shot by police since Jan 1, 2015. On April 14, 2015 an unprecedented group of prominent voices of conscience will come together with relatives of the unarmed shot down by police in a movement determined to STOP this murder,” the news release states, making no distinction between justified and unjustified uses of force
The protests were organized by prominent rabble rousers Cornel West and Carl Dix.
