I'd plead for some leniency. I certainly didn't want him banned. Restrict his posting for a while and see if that improves things.
Well, we are talking about TEA Party Reveler. Banning him is no great loss. Where was the support for Palmdale? At least he made cogent posts backed up with facts and cites. Hardly a troll.
He does have that federal judge on his side with that Sewer City harassment and false arrest lawsuit. So he is the LF member most likely to get his 15 minutes of fame over the next year or two. I don't know about you but I'd been supportive of him and was hoping to read a few threads about his eventual victory. He intended to troll. His posts reeked with that intent.
Pffft. Calling out and mocking posters who make unsupported, ridiculous claims is not trolling, no matter how much it embarrasses them. That he did it with just a few words is an art. The real problem was that the responses to his posts were filled with vitriol and hatred, name-calling and misrepresentation. Conclusion? Palmdale causes dissent and is therefore a troll. You know as well as I do that FR did the same thing. Try to post any truth that goes against the groupthink and you'll find yourself banned as a troll.
Yet when I called out Palmdale and misterwhite for their unsupported claims about majority rule, etc, they called me a troll, and put me on bozo. Hypocrisy anyone?
