“I am running for president to return our country to the principles of liberty and limited government,” Paul said on his website. Paul considers himself a “different kind of Republican.” He was first elected to the 2010 Senate by campaigning for national debt reduction, federal spending cuts and repealing the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. Paul will frame himself as “the most anti-establishment figure in the race.” Although younger Republicans agree with some of Paul’s policies, such as his support to normalize relations with Cuba, most of Republican party members oppose positions he takes, including his previous opposition for the United States to conduct airstrikes on Islamic State targets — a position he has reversed. He has frequently used the slogan “I Stand with Rand” on social media, a possible campaign slogan. Paul has recently strayed from controversy by not commenting on the ardent discussion over Indiana’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which many critics perceive as being anti-LGBT and many other potential Republican presidential nominees have supported. Paul had 25.7 percent of the vote, with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker following closely with 21.4 percent. 3,000 conservative leaders participated in the vote. Paul holds nearly nine percent of favorable polls for the 2016 Republican Presidential Nomination, behind former Fla. Gov. Jeb Bush’s near 17 percent and Walker’s 16 percent according to averages by Real Clear Politics.

What important positions will he reverse himself on next week? One more asshole enters the contest for president...
Some say that Rand Paul is a principled man. So here's a question: Q: How will you know if Rand Paul has compromised his principles? A: If he somehow becomse the gop nominee for POTUS. (in other words in the Ruling Class controlled gop, the only solid "principles" that exist are the ones to gain and achieve power and money. All others are negotiable)
But.... he's not Panamanian, Mexican, Kenyan or Canadian!!! Will Americans vote for an American?
Not as catchy of a slogan as "hope and change", but there's just enough there to make the rubes think he is a "maverick" when actually he has proven over and over that he's just another lying, scumbag, interventionist political whore who will sell out to the highest bidder.
Cruz chose to go classy. Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz welcomes his "good friend" into the presidential race. "I am glad to welcome my friend Rand Paul into the 2016 GOP primary. Rand is a good friend, and we have worked side by side on many issues," Cruz's written statement reads. "I respect his talent, his passion, and the work he has done for Kentuckians and Americans in the U.S. Senate. His entry into the race will no doubt raise the bar of competition, help make us all stronger, and ultimately ensure that the GOP nominee is equipped to beat Hillary Clinton and to take back the White House for Republicans in 2016." Since Bloomberg is probaly pulling for the Jebster, I'm sure he will "cheer on" any and all of the alternative candidates going after each other - hoping that whoever emerges as the Jebster alternative is mortally wounded. And yes, that was a classy response by Cruz.
Nah, he'll come out for Hitlery right off the bat. Take that to the bank. Bloomy only pretends to be a Republican when he runs for office. Otherwise, steady lifelong Dem voter, speaker and donor.

Fauxcohontas isn't going to announce her candidacy until Hitlery is destroyed/embarrassed and dropped out of the race. If she "comes out" now then Hitlery's smear machine will kick into high gear to expose her for what she really is.
