Bible Study Title: Why I never preach against the use of deadly force Tuesday, March 10, 2015 Why I never preach against the use of deadly force Romans 2:3 Therefore thou art inexcusable O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. ... And thinkest thou this, O man that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? Romans 2:1&3 ACP/KJV This thought says a lot about me and about other preachers who believe in the Word of God and His word as well. Sunday, while listening to the sermon of Pastor Stephen Baum at the First Baptist Church of West Albuquerque, one of the best sermons I have heard, he quoted, in part from Romans chapter two. Therefore thou art inexcusable O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. And thinkest thou this, O man that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? Or despisest thou the riches of His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds. Romans 1-6 ACP/KJV Those six verses, especially verses one and three tell exactly why God has never stirred me or directed me to preach against the use of deadly force. I think it also explains why so many pastors never preach against abortion, adultery, pornography and other social crimes, and, it may explain how it is that the Roman Catholic church takes such a watered down position on homosexuality. How can a man preach against adultery, when he is, in most cases, an adulterer? Did not Jesus Himself say "Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart."? How could I preach against the use of deadly force when I have so publicly stated on http://ChristianPatriot.com on Wednesday November 30th, in the Year of Our Lord, 2,005 6,416 years or so after the fall of man: "First I have to tell you a story. Monday's thought dealt with why we, as true Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians, must forgive. And why the heathens should thank God that He has reined us in by requiring us, not to clean their clocks at the least provocation, but pray for them. Well, last night at around two AM, my wife woke me up. She said: "I heard something." I said "What?" She said, "It sounded like a person stepping on and crushing a plastic drink bottle." I said: "Where?" She said, "I'm not sure, but in the house." That was good enough for me, I got up, put on my glasses, got a .38 loaded with six hydra shocks, left a loaded 12 gauge pump in the bedroom with my wife, and went about very carefully and methodically searching my house. Searching my house does not take long, it is ranch, and it is only 40X24. The livingroom, dining room and kitchen are one big open space, so a careful search doesn't take very long. Now, why am I telling you about last night, especially in light of Monday's thought on the command to forgive? I'm telling you this to clear up any misconceptions about Monday's thought. There are times when you don't turn the other cheek, there are times when you have to put yourself between extreme danger and another. There are times when you have to be prepared to send another human to final judgement. There are a few things you should come to realize by what I said, first: A .38 loaded with Hydra shocks is not a toy, those six rounds are designed to kill, period. Second, putting on my glasses at 2:AM has to make you understand that I was in no mood to argue, I was in the mood to find and eliminate the threat, the mood to protect my wife, regardless of the cost. And that is today's subject. Protecting your wife regardless of the cost." ... Clickhere for the complete Wednesday Nov 30, 2005 thought. So how could I write about not using deadly force when I have already stated that I not only would use deadly force, but on that night back in 2005, was hunting for someone, who if they failed to comply to my every command, I would use deadly force on. All Scripture quoted, in both sermons and daily thoughts, unless otherwise noted, is from the ACP/King James Version. The words in red are those of God the Son, the Lord Jesus and the words in purple are those of God the Father and God the Holy Ghost and the words in this sickly EPA greenish color are of satan.
