cop-who-laughed-about-baby-bou-was-shot
Habersham County, GA — Sheriff Joey Terrell and one of his deputies were shot and injured while responding to a domestic violence complaint that involved another officer.

Terrell has been the subject of a number of reports at The Free Thought Project, because he is the law enforcement official who authorized the “no knock raid” that maimed and nearly killed a young toddler. Terrell then later broke a promise to pay the family’s medical bills when he left them to take care of it on their own.

On Sunday, Sheriff Terrell and Deputy William Zigan were dispatched to a domestic disturbance that involved former Gainesville city police officer Anthony Giaquinta. Giaquinta was recently fired from his job at the Gainesville Police Department, but as of now the reason for his termination is unknown.

When police arrived on the scene, they found Giaquinta’s ex-wife dead in the garage of the home.

The suspect then shot both Terrell and Zigan, then fled the scene and began a search that ended just before midnight, when police found the bodies of two men, including Anthony Giaquinta.

“As EMS and law enforcement arrived, he started shooting at Habersham County Sheriff’s deputies. Two have been wounded. At this point, it doesn’t appear serious,” Capt. Mark Perry with the Georgia State Patrol said in a statement.

It has not been revealed who the other person was, and no details about the circumstances of their deaths have been released to the public.

Sheriff Terrell and Deputy William Zigan are expected to make a full recovery from their injuries.

Let the family sue the Sheriff so that all information will come out in a court of law so a jury can decide what was right or wrong. That is the American way…

No,"The American Way" is you knock on the freaking door and present your warrant.

Things like "no knock warrants" are the Soviet and Nazi Way,not the American Way.

So the family was expecting the raid in the middle of the night? The whole point of a no-knock is to catch people by surprise.

Sometimes space in family homes is tight.

It was a three-bedroom, two-bath single story house with enclosed garage.
There was a man, woman and three children inside.

With that much space, why would they place the playpen to block the door?

So the family was expecting the raid in the middle of the night?

The so-called "drug dealer" did not even live at the house.

No drugs or guns were found in the house.

No charges for officers in botched drug raid that disfigured toddler

A Habersham County grand jury has decided not to charge any of the law enforcement officers involved in the botched drug raid that disfigured a toddler.

Nineteen-month-old Bounkham “Bou Bou” Phonesavanh’s nose was detached from his face after a stun grenade landed in his playpen during the raid, carried out by a Habersham SWAT team in May. According to an incident report obtained from the Habersham sheriff’s office, deputies were told to anticipate a cache of weapons and armed guards at the home.

A search inside turned up neither guns nor drugs. Wanis Thonetheva, who didn’t even live at the house, was arrested later that day without incident and charged only with possession of methamphetamine.

A drug buy was initiated inside the house. The buy informant said there were guards at the door. The police had seen guards at the door during their recon observation. The person making the buy was asked if there were children in the house, he said he had seen none. There were no toys or anything to indicate that children were in the house.

They placed the child sleeping in the playpen blocking to block the door in a three bedroom, two bath house with an attached garage. It is unfortunate the child was hurt....I place the blame on the adults in the house for this.

A drug buy was initiated inside the house. The buy informant said there were guards at the door.

The informant lied.

An unnamed petty criminal who acted as an informant told Terrell’s task force that drug commerce had occurred at the targeted residence in Cornelia, and that armed men were acting as “guards.” However, the stormtroopers found no drugs in the house. The suspect they sought wasn’t present when the raiders kicked in the door.

The so-called "dealer" hadn't even lived in the house for weeks.

The person making the buy was asked if there were children in the house, he said he had seen none. There were no toys or anything to indicate that children were in the house.

There were toys scattered all over the yard.

The police said there were none.

Attaboy!

Everyone else has asserted that toys were scattered all over the yard, yet you with your cop worshiping sickness believe their story.

In May, the Habersham County Special Response Team executed a no-knock drug raid on the home of a family friend where Baby Bou Bou, his parents, and sisters were staying. It was the middle of the night, and even though the family's minivan was parked in the driveway and children's toys were in the yard, a squad of SWAT officers decided to throw a flashbang grenade into the living room.

I guess you can’t expect cops to notice something like that in the middle of a late-night drug raid. Besides, they could have been decoys.

The so-called "dealer" hadn't even lived in the house for weeks.

Didn't meant that he wasn't there on the afternoon before the raid, or someone else was selling drugs.

"When we did surveillance on the house, there were two guards standing guard at the door ... like they weren't letting anybody in," Terrell said. "We did make the buy out of the house. We took that information, along with our other information, and went to see the judge and got a warrant."

Terrell said the drug buy was made late Tuesday, but it was early Wednesday before the warrant could be obtained and served.

The grand jury found nothing for an indictment. The state and federal officials looked into the Habersham County the raid and found nothing.

I will go with these findings, not yours.

For the "drug buy" to be part of the PC for the warrant, they should have kept constant surveillance on the residence, watching all exits and entrances, documrnting all coming and going.... before they hit the door, window or entrance point, while they waited for the warrant.

I've not researched this case, so I have no real information. I do remember that drugs were found inside this structure.
