I knew they were gonna shit on the top box office movie, American Sniper. I knew they would throw in a few "plugs" for homosexuality, reverse racism and glorify suicide. If you were an odd, weird, suicidal, black fucker, that likes movies that ranked 55th at the box office... you were well represented. I spent most of my time watching the UFC fight. I clicked back on the Oscars, between commercials, for my wife. Every society gets the kind of criminal it deserves. Every year my wife and I watch the Academy Awards and discover we haven't seen any of the nominees, much less the winner. We did see American Sniper -- went to the 4:00 showing on a Tuesday. Every seat was taken. $400 million at the box office. 10 times Birdman -- a movie I wouldn't see if I had free tickets. Hollywood makes movies for the Oscars, not for the American people. And if there's an old actor who's never won, or a movie depicting the plight of some minority group, or a movie promoting some liberal cause, you're looking at a winner.
