If you can't shit regularly, I'd say eat chili every 7 to 10 days... but buy as many large and small primers for rifle and pistol you can afford. Store them in a secure, cool and dry place. Before use and actual pressing in my Dillon Precision press, how shall I test the 100 primers from the small tin before reloading? Should I use a sample technique that is well understood in modern industry as a method to understand the quality of the primers before use? If so, will you bite a primer (with your teeth) to test the primer? I need a good test technician such as you and I understand you are out of a job, living on a fixed government pension. To: Pridie.Nones (#7) how shall I test the 100 primers from the small tin before reloading? Simple Randomly select 10 primers from a box of 1,000. Seat these primers in a resized rifle or pistol case. Without powder or projectile, chamber the primed brass case in your firearm. Put the muzzle against your ear canal and listen carefully as you slowly squeeze your trigger. If blood starts oozing out of your other ear... your tin of primers work as designed.
