If you can't shit regularly, I'd say eat chili every 7 to 10 days... but buy as many large and small primers for rifle and pistol you can afford. Store them in a secure, cool and dry place. To: GrandIsland (#6) Is there a method for calculating how many primers should be available for any given day for reloading purposes? As an example: I want to make about 100 rounds of .308. Before use and actual pressing in my Dillon Precision press, how shall I test the 100 primers from the small tin before reloading? Should I use a sample technique that is well understood in modern industry as a method to understand the quality of the primers before use? If so, will you bite a primer (with your teeth) to test the primer? I need a good test technician such as you and I understand you are out of a job, living on a fixed government pension.
