Turn out the lights. It's all over for establishment anchorman Brian Williams. He won't be back on the air at NBC, ever.
Yes, we have the press release saying the pretty boy talking head has been "suspended" for six months without pay. But that's just damage control. Brian Williams has been proven to be a pathological liar, and that is fatal for a news anchorman's credibility. He's gone.
A lot can happen in six months. Lester Holt could catch on and replace his more photogenic colleague. But we think NBC will go searching for a more exciting "face" for network news if Holt's ratings suddenly start to sink.
HIS CREDIBILITY IS GONE
It's entirely possible Williams might battle his former bosses in a court of law. After all, the loss of five million bucks, half a year's salary, is a big bite out of his bank account, and Brian's huge ego could factor into this as well and cause him to sue NBC.
We doubt another network would take a chance on hiring such a Pinocchio if Williams is later cut loose. But stranger things have happened.
Who would think we would elect and re-elect a pathological liar whose lack of leadership and integrity has placed the United States in great danger from its enemies around the world?

The fall of Obama admirer Brian Williams is an embarrassment to the mainstream media. But, they control ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN, so they still can be a big help in electing Hillary Clinton.
Of course, she has her own problem with lies, being caught on tape several times relating how she landed at a Bosnian airport and "ran, head-down" to safety while under "sniper fire." That absolute fabrication was blown out of the water by news tape of the airport arrival.
How ironic if a liberal TV anchorman revives questions about Hillary's truthfulness and sinks her last shot at being elected President? Stay tuned, gang. A lot more will happen before this story retreats into the shadows.
