Residents from Kingman and surrounding communities attended a town hall meeting convened by Arizona Senator Kelly Ward, on what exactly is falling from Mohave County skies and is it sickening some of its residents.

More than 100 residents attended a town hall to express their frustration over what exactly is being sprayed in the skies and wondering if it is harmful.

Senator Ward called the meeting “baby steps” in getting answers to the increased levels of barium, aluminum, strontium and other heavy metals in residents blood.

Arizona Department of Environmental Quality administrative counsel faced many questions and outrage after lack of answers and interest by state officials.

Counsel insisted that their department has no jurisdiction over what is emitted from aircraft or its engines, and went on to explain the Federal Environmental Protection Agency sets the air standards for aircraft, which are enforced by the Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration.

They also recommended filing a complaint with the EPA or the FAA.

10406571_546061148832458_5874368671543204454_n

Ward said she would talk to U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Prescott, and other elected federal officials and promised future town halls on the subject.

Barium has been found in blood systems, which is sickening people.

One resident asked if the rain water has been tested for barium and other toxic metals.

A woman said several family members have died from brain tumors and wondered why someone from the EPA or the FAA was not present at the town hall.

Another woman spoke of chaff, saying it is used by the Air Force to spray a fibrous chemical from fighter jets to avoid detection.

Chaff is actually made up of strips of metal foil or metal filings to obstruct radar detection.

She said fighter jets, flying at higher altitudes than commercial airliners, spray the chemicals that are then collected by airliners’ water vapor before dropping to the ground.

We’re being sprayed like we’re bugs and that’s not OK

Several people spoke of moving to the county years ago and seeing blue skies and now seeing a constant haze.

One woman spoke of numerous species dying off including birds, bees and fish globally.

Another woman spoke of seeing unmarked aircraft taking off in Phoenix with spray nozzles attached to the tail or wings.

Someone else asked where to send medical evidence of increased levels of toxic metals.

Another man said that former President Dwight Eisenhower warned Americans of the military industrial complex just before he left office in 1960.

Officials from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) seemed ill-prepared to deal with the medical and technical aspects of the complaints repeatedly claiming they had no jurisdiction in FAA matters.

Senator Ward suggested a second meeting would follow, much to the appreciation of those in attendance.

The town hall was full of testimony establishing that unmarked aircraft have been repeatedly spraying aerosols from unmarked military aircraft while civilian airliners were leaving no trails, even while flying in the same air space as the unmarked jets.

Multiple lab tests that revealed high concentrations of toxins and contamination were submitted to ADEQ as evidence. (1 image)

Sometimes when a jet flies through the air it leaves a trail of wispy clouds called contrails. It’s frozen water vapor. Ice. But some Americans believe that contrails are chemicals that the US government is spraying on them. They call them “chemtrails” and Arizona State Senator Kelli Ward recently held a hearing to address them.

Ward told the Havasu News that her constituents were concerned about contrails having an effect on mercury levels in their bloodstream and the local weather. Area resident Jennifer Cramer said:

“Every time they do chemtrailing there is some dramatic change in the weather. I noticed it this weekend and then it got very windy. I’m not a scientist and I don’t know what’s in the [chemtrails]. I think we have a right to know instead of worrying about it every day.”

Glad she pointed out that she’s not a scientist, because I never would have guessed.

Here’s the good news: A 2013 survey by Public Policy Polling found that only 5 percent of Americans believed the government was spreading chemicals with planes and 8 percent were unsure. That didn’t change much when it broke down by party affiliation. Five percent of Democrats bought the conspiracy theory, 11 percent were unsure, compared to 6 percent of Republicans, and 7 percent unsure. But when you break it down by age, 17 percent of 18 to 29-year-olds believed the government was spraying chemicals, with 9 percent unsure.

So when asked if Uncle Sam is slipping us an aerial mickey, more than a quarter of 18 to 29-year-olds say, “Could be.” Funny how the generation that’s most plugged into the information superhighway couldn’t Google it.

Whatever happened to the teachable moment? Like when John McCain said, “No, Ma’am.” Obama’s “not an Arab.” Politicians must stop humoring the wing-nuts. Don’t give them a hearing on contrails; tell them it’s ice.

Plus the joke’s on the Arizonans who don’t believe contrails are ice, because that kind of thinking is so European – if you’ve ever been to a bar in Europe, you’ll know that they don’t believe in ice either.

Paper Writes Dumb Article About Senator's Dumb "Chemtrails" Hearing

An Arizona state senator scheduled a hearing this week about the "chemtrails" epidemic plaguing the area around Lake Havasu. A local newspaper wrote about the conspiracy theory as if it were fact, and further down the anti-science rabbit hole we go.

The first line is a doozy.

Mysterious white streaks in the skies over Mohave County are the subject of a meeting next week scheduled by state Sen. Kelli Ward.

Contrails. The word you are looking for is contrails. The word is a portmanteau of "condensation trails," or the thin wispy clouds that form when the warm, moist jet exhaust left behind by high-flying aircraft condenses when it comes in contact with the extremely cold, moist air of the upper atmosphere. The result is a cirrus cloud that lasts from a few seconds to hours depending on the humidity levels that day.

They are far from "mysterious." A+ reporting. Let's keep going.

[The senator] says the meeting was called to respond to concerns by her constituents about the so-called chemtrails that appear in the sky after jets fly by.

"So- called chemtrails," eh?

Paper Writes Dumb Article About Senator's Dumb

Immediately next to this so-called paragraph is a photo of a sky full of contrails with the caption "chemtrails are shown over Lake Havasu City." Y'see, we're not saying that these so-called chemtrails exist, but look at this here picture we incorrectly titled "chemtrails." Coincidence!? I think not.

The state senator sponsoring the hearings, Dr. Kelli Ward (who holds both a B.S. in psychology and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine), says that the meeting is not to see if chemtrails exist, but rather to calm citizens irrationally concerned that they're being sprayed with billions of gallons of toxic chemicals by the Delta red-eye from LAX.

Ward said she is confident that the air and water in Mohave County are safe and pointed to naturally occurring minerals that could account for heightened levels of mercury and other minerals in blood tests.

"I have gotten a lot of communications from people who are concerned and there has been a sense that no one has been doing anything for them to address those concerns," she said. "I can't do field tests on the water, but I can connect them to the people who do."

The newspaper interviewed two Havasu residents to see what they had to say about the epidemic. One small business owner says that he read on the internets that chemtrails are real, and that since the government lies to us, "there's definitely something going on." Another resident had this to say after noting that she's seen chemtrails for about two years now:

"Every time they do chemtrailing there is some dramatic change in the weather. I noticed it this weekend and then it got very windy," Cramer said. "I'm not a scientist and I don't know what's in the (chemtrails). I think we have a right to know instead of worry about it every day."

The scariest part of the article is the fact that two representatives from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality are passing up the chance to say "this is a ridiculous conspiracy theory and you people should be ashamed of your stupidity" to punt on the issue entirely. The agency told the News-Herald that the meeting will focus "on the department's lack of regulatory authority over any type of chemical spraying."

Hell, fly me out there (on a chemmobile, of course) and I'll hold the meeting for you. Are you ready?

Chemtrails

simply

do

not

exist.

That's all they need to say at the meeting. Despite what Mohave County's finest thinkers may have to say about the matter, chemtrails do not exist exist.

If that fails, my next advice is to step outside and take a nice, deep breath.

CONSPIRACY THEORY: OBAMA ORDERS ‘CHEMTRAILS’ TO POISON ARIZONANS

Another week, another Obama-is-trying-to-kill-us-all Tea Party-fueled conspiracy theory.

Well, where to begin? You’ve undoubtedly seen contrials in the sky? Those long, thin-looking clouds behind airplanes caused by water vapor. Well, you can see them, and ask yourself, “Hey, what causes those? I bet science can explain that?” Or you can be like Arizona State Senator Kelli Ward (R-Craycraytown) and suggest that those contrails are actually “chemtrails” (see what they did there?), that is, chemical weapons being sprayed by government airplanes on citizens on the orders of President Obama … yeah, yeah, yeah.

Science
can explain those long white things. Or not. Whatever.

Science can explain those long white things. Or not. Whatever.

Yes. Chemtrails. A problem so non-existent that Sen. Kelli-with-an- “I” Ward held a public meeting and even had the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality on hand to answer questions from concern citizens. And guess what? It was all recorded.

There was a brief, fact-laden presentation of sorts by the ADEQ, which, of course, was automatically suspect because, 1) it’s a government agency and 2), it’s all science-y. And, ta-da, after that, the audience was invited to ask questions and provide comments.

I’ll wait here while you go pop some popcorn. But let me warn you, after watching about 10 minutes of this, you’ll be ready to give up on this democracy thing.

The audience, many apparently fresh from tipping 10 percent at Denny’s, had some great points and very informed questions. I’ve summed up their major points here:

  • “These chemtrails, these chemical weapons Obama is spraying on us? Is there any antidote for the heavy metals we are now ingesting on our food and water?”
  • “God I hate Obama.”
  • “How do extraterrestrials figure into all of this?”
  • “Is Obama an extraterrestrial?”
  • “Does that disqualify him for being president of the United States?”
  • “How do state’s rights come into play here?”
  • “Just how much of our tax dollars are being spent on killing us with chemical weapons?”
  • “Can this be done cheaper?”
  • At the 55:45 mark, perhaps the first time the word “poop” was said in a public meeting.

My favorite comment: This goes to concerned citizen and weather guru Jennifer Cramer. According to Cramer, the chemtrials are a government plot to change the climate of Arizona. How does she know? “Every time they do chemtrailing there is some dramatic change in the weather. I noticed it this weekend and then it got very windy,” Cramer said. “I’m not a scientist and I don’t know what’s in the (chemtrails). I think we have a right to know instead of worry about it every day.”

Wind. Obama’s most nefarious weapon.

Second favorite comment: The woman who devised a way to conduct an at-home heavy metal test so you yourself can find out what exactly you’re being poisoned with (fast forward to the 1:33 mark). “There’s a simple test you can take with hydrogen peroxide and red wine in your mouth. And when you spit it out, you will see all those nanoparticles collect in the bowl.”

I tried this test a dozen times last night. Got really, really drunk and suffered burns in my esophagus.

According to a meeting recap in the New York Daily News, “neighbors will hopefully learn that contrails are frozen water vapors that follow jets at high altitudes.”

Hopefully. But don’t count on it.

The town hall was full of testimony establishing that unmarked aircraft have been repeatedly spraying aerosols from unmarked military aircraft while civilian airliners were leaving no trails, even while flying in the same air space as the unmarked jets.

Now there are two main reasons why some planes leave trails and some nearby planes do not. The less common reason, is that different planes have different engines. Some engines will leave a contrail in air where another engine will not. Here, for example are an Airbus A340 (maiden flight: 1991) on the left, leaving contrails, and a Boeing 707 (maiden flight: 1957) not leaving contrails. Both are flying at 33,000 feet (part of a German test to study contrail formation), but the newer engines of the A340 produce more water vapor at a different temperature, and so make contrails.

You can also get a similar effect with engines at different power settings, especially if it effects the exhaust temperature.

But here’s the main reason why you see trails on some planes but not on others, and I’ll emphasize it, because although it’s simple, it’s also easy to miss.

The planes are at different altitudes. Yes, it’s really that simple. The reason that one plane makes contrails, or makes contrails that persist, and the other plane does not, is that they are in different regions of air. For simplicity, let’s refer to these regions of air as wet air and dry air, although the differences are a bit more complex.

When the plane is in wet air, it makes a contrail. In dry air it does not.

Surely, you might object, they would have to be miles apart? Well, no, and that brings me to another point I fear I must emphasise:

Wet and dry air can exist within a few feet of each other.

Still spewing the CIA talking points, eh Gatslime?

“Conspiracy Theory”: Foundations of a Weaponized Term (Subtle and Deceptive Tactics to Discredit Truth in Media and Research)

“Conspiracy theory” is a term that at once strikes fear and anxiety in the hearts of most every public figure, particularly journalists and academics. Since the 1960s the label has become a disciplinary device that has been overwhelmingly effective in defining certain events off limits to inquiry or debate. Especially in the United States raising legitimate questions about dubious official narratives destined to inform public opinion (and thereby public policy) is a major thought crime that must be cauterized from the public psyche at all costs.

Conspiracy theory’s acutely negative connotations may be traced to liberal historian Richard Hofstadter’s well-known fusillades against the “New Right.” Yet it was the Central Intelligence Agency that likely played the greatest role in effectively “weaponizing” the term. In the groundswell of public skepticism toward the Warren Commission’s findings on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the CIA sent a detailed directive to all of its bureaus. Titled “Countering Criticism of the Warren Commission Report,” the dispatch played a definitive role in making the “conspiracy theory” term a weapon to be wielded against almost any individual or group calling the government’s increasingly clandestine programs and activities into question.

This important memorandum and its broad implications for American politics and public discourse are detailed in a forthcoming book by Florida State University political scientist Lance de-Haven-Smith, Conspiracy Theory in America. Dr. de-Haven-Smith devised the  state crimes against democracy concept to interpret and explain potential government complicity in events such as the Gulf of Tonkin incident, the major political assassinations of the 1960s, and 9/11.

“CIA Document 1035-960” was released in response to a 1976 FOIA request by the New York Times. The directive is especially significant because it outlines the CIA’s concern regarding “the whole reputation of the American government” vis-à-vis the Warren Commission Report. The agency was especially interested in maintaining its own image and role as it “contributed information to the [Warren] investigation.”

The memorandum lays out a detailed series of actions and techniques for “countering and discrediting the claims of the conspiracy theorists, so as to inhibit the circulation of such claims in other countries.” For example, approaching “friendly elite contacts (especially politicians and editors)” to remind them of the Warren Commission’s integrity and soundness should be prioritized. “[T]he charges of the critics are without serious foundation,” the document reads, and “further speculative discussion only plays in to the hands of the [Communist] opposition.”

The agency also directed its members “[t]o employ propaganda assets to [negate] and refute the attacks of the critics. Book reviews and feature articles are particularly appropriate for this purpose.”

Chemtrails or Contrails?
Are We Really Being Sprayed?

by G. Edward Griffin
http://educate-yourself.org/cn/chemtrailsbygedwardgriffin07jul04.shtml
July 7, 2004

http://www.freedomforceinternational.org/freedomcontent.cfm?fuseaction=chemtrails&refpage=issues

By now, almost everyone has heard the allegation that the United States, Canada, Great Brittain, Germany, France, and numerous other countries are being systematically spayed by high-altitude military tankers. The purpose of this spraying can only be imagined, because the governments of these countries steadfastly deny that any such operation is underway. we have been told that what we see in the sky is called a contrail and is merely the normal condensation of ice crystals from the H2O component of jet engine exhaust.

I cannot claim that any of the Internet sources of information on this topic are totally reliable. However, based on my own observations of these sky trails, it is my opinion that they are not ice crystals from contrails. Contrails can be seen almost every day, and they are characterized by short, narrow plumes that rapidly dissipate about a half-mile behind the planes. I have captured numerous video shots of these little plumes as they follow their planes across the sky. Chemtrails, however, are very different. They billow from horizon to horizon and gradually feather out to fill the entire sky with haze that lingers all day and well into the night where they can be seen still filtering light from the moon. It is amazing to me how so many people fail to discern the obvious difference between these two types of formations.

What I have seen on the Internet regarding laboratory analysis of chemtrail samples is plausible. The fallout was picked up in rainwater and it was found to contain a high concentration of aluminum oxide and microscopic quartz crystals. Other investigators believe that barium oxide also is being dispersed. It appears that government black-box agencies are conducting a massive spraying operation to reflect sunlight, which supposedly will slow down global warming. I say supposedly because there is evidence that the long-term effect will be just the opposite, and that disruption of the normal atmospheric cycles may actually be causing a warming trend.

There also may be more sinister purposes involving the deliberate creation of health hazards or the dissemination of mind-altering chemicals, but I have not seen hard evidence of that. However, the fact that governments are lying to the public about the reality of this phenomenon is bad enough. It seems that collectivists are so accustomed to lying that they do it even when the truth would be easier.

Of one thing we can be certain: A tenet of collectivism is that anything can be justified simply by claiming that it is for the greater good of the greater number. Therefore, whatever is going on, when it eventually is disclosed to the public, it will be explained as a wonderful humanitarian measure that is in the best interest of all mankind, and we will be expected to be tingly all over with gratitude for the wisdom and benevolence of those great leaders who initiated it.

The bigger problem is not whether chemtrails are a reality. The problem is that government can be proven to disregard health and safety in pursuit of any and all goals it has set. THAT can be proven as fact.

Many Citizens, and that includes me, have no reason to, and do not trust those that have set themselves up as our Lords and Ladies. More Citizens trust everything that they are told and are happily ignorant of things they should have been told.

The reason I am likely to investigate an event happened is the govt or their lying mouthpieces told me it didn't or vice versa. That makes me a skeptic on most of what most people take as fact, and inquisitive at what most laugh at.

Do I think government has allowed spraying of chemicals from the air or is doing so? I would say no, but I would not put it past them.

You see those criss-cross plumes of white smoke that have been lingering in the blue sky for hours? Chyeah, it's merely some pilot getting all his hours in, or practicing his aerial tic-tac-toe boxes...

In other words, NOTHING TO SEE HERE. Just return to your barium-seeded homes, poisoned land and air and ask no questions. The authoritahs are just here to help. Cuz they care and would never hurt you.

By Bill Maher

A well-respected scientist I assume?

He's obvious respected by Gilligan.

Let's get this straight; Gatlin (when he's not LF's Paper-Boy) is using uber-Lefty/Atheist Bill Maher as a source of refutation for Chemtrails?

Figures. Birds/canaries of a feather right there.

The town hall was full of testimony establishing that unmarked aircraft have been repeatedly spraying aerosols from unmarked military aircraft while civilian airliners were leaving no trails, even while flying in the same air space as the unmarked jets.

Stop injecting eyewitness testimony and common sense into this!

If Bill Maher, Gatllin, and the US Gubmint say it's "Contrails," then it's contrails, you kook! Pay no attention to the man in the lab coat and stack of skulls behind the curtain! Don't you know the gubmint is just here to "help"??

Since you're barely able to communicate via the word, can you break out your Crayolas and color me a picture instead?

"but exactly what has that to do with the aerial toxins spewed from 20,000 ft that you claim are *cough* "contrails"?

I'm saying that it's possible the contaminants are coming from the water supply, not from *cough* "chemtrails".

Ironically, those years you worked for the goob (1967-1976) were years the REST of us trusted the gubmint.

Including me, when I started, but by the early 69, I was starting to see the light

Senator Ward called the meeting “baby steps” in getting answers to the increased levels of barium, aluminum, strontium and other heavy metals in residents blood.

I know Strontium-90 was a byproduct of the nuclear testing in the 50s.

Is there a nuclear power plant nearby?
