Bruce Jenner was involved in a three-car, fatal accident at 12:12 p.m. local time Saturday afternoon on Pacific Coast Highway, near Malibu, Calif. Witnesses told TMZ that Jenner was driving when he rear-ended a female motorist in a white sedan. That car was reportedly forced into oncoming traffic, where a Humvee struck the vehicle head-on.
In all, eight people were involved, but initial reports state that the woman in the sedan has died.
Law enforcement officials also told TMZ that Jenner seems to have sustained only minor injuries, while the remaining survivors sustained injuries, ranging from minor to moderate.
Sources close to the Jenner family have said Bruce told first responders he was being pursued by as many as five paparazzi when the accident occurred. Jenner also reportedly volunteered to undergo a field sobriety test, which he passed.
Jenner is currently making headlines after he chose to undergo cross-sex hormone therapy, in order to transition into a woman.
