Even though I really hope that both teams lose today I will probably watch the game simply because it's on. Shame on me!

Both teams did lose to the KC Chiefs during the regular season.

Don't watch.

Neither team I'd normally cheer for. However I'm always happy to cheer against a cheater. Though I'm sure all teams cheat to some level, it only stands to reason that the team the cheats the most gets caught the most.

I hope Seattle kicks the dog snot out of NE.

I wish that that was universally true.

Don't watch.

Works for me.

I'm sure the NFL's Football Inflation Police will be deployed in full regalia, ensuring that every ball is inflated to within 1/100 of a pound of the prescribed air pressure.

Frankly, the whole Deflategate thing was so stupid that it managed to damage the entire NFL franchise. But then, the NFL is like the Catholic church. No matter how many blunders and mistakes they make, their devout followers feel they have nowhere else to go on a February Sunday.

I know. I'm not ambivalent. I like both quarterbacks for their dedication and competitive nature. Both teams RBs are sullen freight trains. Both head coaches have cheating on their respective resumes. Both teams have outstanding individuals on defense and few on offense. I believe it will be a close, low-scoring game. Could well be decided on the final drive of the game. At least I hope so.

Yes, it was. If the deflated ball was easier to throw it would also be easier to catch, intercept and recover if fumbled.

Well, here's one good reason to root for Seattle:

Pete Carroll admired by '9/11 Truth' movement

"Any notoriety is good I guess," Carroll said, when told by USA TODAY Sports how he had become a favorite among Truth activists. "I will always be interested in the truth, yeah."

Please don't ask me to care that much. Surely a Superbowl thread is the epitome of chitty-chat threads. What do you expect when you click on it?

After two weeks of hysterical coverage and teary press conferences about underinflated footballs, isn't a normal rule infraction a welcome relief?

Count me in. She's kind of a hog.

I think she's had a lot of butt-lifts and butt-injections to get that real slutty look to her hiney. It just looks unnatural to me and has gotten much more that way over time. What's so odd is that it doesn't really do anything for her looks. But then, why argue with her obvious huge success? She's probably made hundreds of millions off her act.
