Even though I really hope that both teams lose today I will probably watch the game simply because it's on. Shame on me!

Infamous last words... :) Whoever decided to pass could have a great career with the RNC.
I'm not a fan of either team but was plugging for the Seahawks. Worse call of their season when it counted most. Big running back with legs like tree trunks, gained 4 yards on the previous play; one yard from winning it all after a miraculous catch...Bubba ya run the ball. Also given Wilson got picked two weeks ago three times trying to thread the needle. Bad call. But it was the most exciting last few minutes of SB football since the Bucs beat the Titans. Titans coming up short 1/2 yard when the clock ran out.
I ended up watching "Blood and Chrome", a few episodes of "True Justice" and an episode of NCIS. I don't think I've watched the Super Bowl since the Ravens waxed the Giants.
Wow, really? That was what -- 2001?? This one was so compelling that it transcended the game. It was both a clash of style and culture.
If the 2 teams don't interest me I don't watch it, the game itself really isn't that big a deal its just like any other game except for more hype about usually nothing. I have a whole bunch of stuff on the DVR so I was just going thru it looking to clean some things up, it's about 85% full. Couldn't get into Battlestar Gallactica. (Were the premises plausible?) Or the new Star trek series, which was better than I'd thought at the time. Maybe I was just rejecting the PC stuff and social statements I thought I was sensing.
The first one, second one or both? Did you watch many of the episodes? It all boiled down to in the end that man hasn't quite figured out yet that history will repeat itself if you fail to learn from it. (Kinda like our country and it running down the path of Socialism/Fascism/Communism when history has shown it to be a massive phucking failure).
The first BSG was straight forward. The newer one if you missed one episode you could have missed all the hints and twists. I was surprised the new Baltar was a metrosexual human who preyed on Cylon women.
Did you ever watch Babylon 5? That one was the same way if you missed certain episodes you would miss little clues that would make you scratch your head later. The other problem was it didn't come out in chronological order the first 2 movies were switched around. All in all it was a good series (5 years) and can be found for cheap on DVD now.
Yes watched B5 in Korea. AFN played the reruns and my buddy had his wife send the newer ones. Enjoyed it. Thought that ambassador with the wild hair was a great character.

Londo Mollari, his character seemed to run the gamut of emotions and scenarios. One minute he was the good guy and the next he was a bad guy.
