Weather forecasters are apologizing for over-exaggerating what was just two days ago being predicted to be the “worst ever” blizzard to hit the eastern US, and yet we’re simultaneously supposed to believe 100-year climate models that purport to show the earth being devastated by global warming. After Governors in six states declared emergencies, with some threatening to order police to arrest anyone who drove during the snowstorm, the blizzard turned out to be a great deal more benign than the doomsday headlines just 24 hours before had billed it. The “snowmaggedon” that was forecast by meteorologists to top 2006′s record of 26.9 inches of snow in New York City failed to materialize, with about 6.3 inches of snow falling in Central Park by early Tuesday. The National Weather Service canceled its blizzard warning, with computer models up to 50 miles out on where the storm actually landed. Weather forecasters began to make their apologies, with Gary Szatkowski, tweeting, “My deepest apologies to many key decision-makers and so many members of the general public.” “For much of New Jersey, and for the Philadelphia Metropolitan area, this is a big forecast miss,” he later acknowledged. Meteorologists got their forecasts for one blizzard spectacularly wrong just 24 hours in advance and yet we’re supposed to place our trust in the accuracy of climate models that stretch 100 years into the future? “But weather and climate are not the same thing!,” shriek the global warming alarmists. “You can’t cite weather to make arguments about climate change!” Except that global warming alarmists routinely fail to apply this rule to their own arguments about climate change. The Guardian kindly lectures us that “climate change” is responsible for the “super-charging” winter storm that never arrived on the east coast. Bill Nye also told MSNBC, “I just want to introduce the idea that this storm is connected to climate change. I want to introduce that idea….The strong winds that we had in southern California, the very strong winds that will be associated with this storm in the next couple of days, these could be connected to climate change.” When you’re arguing for man-made climate change, all weather is indicative of climate change. Snow, rain, dry, hot, cold. It doesn’t matter. Just shut up and pay your carbon taxes. I’m not a climate scientist, but when global warming alarmists are simultaneously arguing that large amounts of snow prove man-made global warming, while also heralding “the end of snow” as another indicator of anthropogenic climate change, there’s something wrong with this picture.
Poster Comment: So what happened here in the middle-east states? The US Weather Service and their "Climate Change" flunkies arguably created a false flag by forecasting a “snowmaggedon.” This prompted Fascist Govs Christie (Donut-NJ) and Reichfuerer Cuomo (Nazi-NY) to order the arrest of ANY body driving on the road after 11:00 PM last night ("except for 'emergency.'") WHO are the Governors to declare such a State of Emergency" based on the fake/junk science or fake events that haven't happened? In other words: THIS-WAS-A-TEST. To see how compliant and obedient the sheeple are. Just as in the case of the Boston Marathon bombings and subsequent limited Martial Law. And then there is the fake/junk science "Climate Change" agenda issue. WHY is Bill Nye (of ALL people) now considered a serious or respected source of climatology, much less "science"? Is it because he's the nerdy "Science Guy" from PBS? Because he's an Evolutionist who debated a Creationist? He wears a bowtie? Climatology: The junk science of claiming that cold winters and snow = "Global Warming."

They really are happier when hundreds or thousands of people get killed or injured. It seems to give a purpose to their lives. They just love the I-told-you-so bit.

Yeah, I noticed that story and run on supermarket T-Paper, Spaghetti-O's, and the usual: Milk, Eggs, Bread... ("If we don't stock up, we're all gonna be snowed in until March...and gonna DIE!!!")
You're in CT, right? YOU were supposed to be buried in the hysteria of 2-3 feet of snow AND blown away in the blizzard/hurricane. How bad was it actually?
How bad was it actually? We got about 9 inches overnight. It's sunny now. The power didn't go out. In other words, it snowed. I'm originally from Michigan. In Michigan, nobody hyperventilates about snow. Ever. A run on Whole Foods is precious.
In other words, it snowed. Sunny? 9 inches? Wow. "Snowmageddon," my azz. Aaaah, yes. Just good ol' fashioned SNOW. (It IS winter, right?) Hardly cause for such hysteria. And reason for govs to threaten with arrest anyone driving their car last evening on clear, plowed roads amidst flutters.
The authorities are all high fiving themselves for having "protected us" and "kept us safe". From snow.
Authoritahs did seemed quite please and smug while saving us from weather's Godzilla and Mothra -- snow AND wind. Whatever did Americans do without their fascist parental advice? Nevermind "Big Brother" -- these obtrusive bureaucrats are Big Daddy banishing bratty toddlers who don't know any better. They even have those street cameras to monitor us if we escape out of our cribs.

Prepare for global warming - when the historical cycle says we're on schedule for an ice age. Clever. The elderly McSheeple will stress themselves into an early grave and the Generation XBoxers will be too stupidified to reproduce. A "kinder and gentler" method of solving that ol' "excess human productivity" problem before the ice piles up, again -- and freezes all the morons who're expecting to be living in the tropical North.
I do realize that the earth goes through warming and cooling periods all on its own. The only man made contributing factors that I'm willing to agree with is the fact that we have 7 times, more, the population BREATHING now... than during the last natural warming period. The Gas emissions are insignificant. We can't control how many that exhale... unless we kill off our welfare and convict populations. Two birds... one shot.
