Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio — three Republicans who might run for the White House in 2016 — are participating in a forum this weekend hosted by Charles and David Koch’s conservative donor network.

The group Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce, which is funded by the Koch network, announced Thursday the upcoming “American Recovery Policy Forum” in Palm Springs, Calif. The organization said the Sunday night forum “will focus on domestic economic issues, as well as energy and health care policy.”

The forum comes during the network’s annual winter meeting for donors and supporters. It is expected to draw about 450 business and philanthropic leaders.

Freedom Partners, which serves as a chamber of commerce by awarding monetary grants to a variety of political groups, is publicly announcing the forum and allowing journalists to cover the event by livestream.

The group, headquartered outside Washington in Arlington, says this is the first forum of its kind for them to host and indicates how the organization plans to take a more active and public role in the national political dialogue. (Last week, Freedom Partners released its own “Plan for Economic Growth.”)

The forum is also noteworthy because it will also be viewed as one of the first such forums with multiple possible Republican presidential candidates on stage together. ABC News chief White House correspondent Jonathan Karl is set to moderate the event, which is expected to run for about 60 to 70 minutes.

Poster Comment:

The panel discussion will take place Sunday at 8:30 p.m. PT, and an ABCNews.com partial livestream will feature the event. In addition, Karl will report for ABC News platforms from the event.

Of the 3 I think Paul is a true ideologue - Rubio is an establishment career climber and Cruz is more of a grifter (his dad is a preacher so that Evangelical revival tent grift maybe something he grew up with) and a demagogue.

There is some twitter feed reporting, that has just ended...

Cruz and Rubio think Hillary/Obama are not psycho warhawk enough.

Krauthammer thinks Rubio has a 40% chance at the nomination. No doubt, the GOP running the first Hispanic prez against Hitlery as the first woman prez would be attractive to many in the GOP elite.

Cruz and Walker both have dads that were/are Baptist preachers. And Huck was a Baptist preacher. I guess Baptists will have a busy dance card with them.

I did not mean to impune all preachers - I just recall Cruz's preacher dad was like one of those conspiracy end timers or some such sort of like Mel Gibson's uber Catholic screwy dad. I maybe wrong about Cruz's dad and if so I apologize ahead of time.

I didn't care. I assume the voters will hear how Baptisty the current GOP field is.

Are these the same evil "Koch" brothers that drove demented Harry Reid to drink?
