UPDATE: Thanks to our readers we've identified that this happened in November. This means it predates the Paris terror attacks, but doesn't make the event any less questionable. ----
Let's face it, folks, we have a government that is falling over itself to try and appease sensitivities of Islam. The White House, for example, refuses to call radical Islam radical Islam. Of course, Barack Obama has said, and I quote:
The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.
Obama said this during a speech to the United Nations and has never backed down from it. There are a plethora of examples where Washington has gone out of its way to try to ensure Muslims know the U.S. government will not cross them.
Here's the thing, though. There is no need to "slander" Islam when it comes to government. But there is also no need to bend over backwards to give Islam a welcome mat at every turn. Especially in a time where Christianity is being shown the door on a daily basis. And especially in a time where places in Europe are in absolute turmoil thanks to radicals who practice their hate, bigotry and terror all in the name of Islam.
Yet John Boehner's House just rolled out the red carpet for the message of Islam and the praise of Allah to unfold on the House floor for the world to see. In fact, it was a Muslim prayer to Allah that opened the session the other day.
The following video shows Boehner introduce a Muslim for the opening prayer. The prayer, as you'll see, is nothing short of a blatant admiration of Allah above all others, and the cleric even quotes from the Quran from the House floor.
