I sort of understand the reasoning from Neil's an sysadmin's standpoint with all the bickering; but, it's a shame for the archives to also be closed. There's a lot of good info there that anyone familiar with the site could retrieve. In other words, the archives could be used as a reference source, for some, at least... Regardless, this seems to be a well organized and run forum; so, I'm sure all will work out for the best... Just curious, I missed whatever announcement was made about voting for something.
