United States News Title: Another Senior US Naval Officer Pleads Guilty To Accepting Bribes ANOTHER SENIOR NAVAL OFFICER PLEADS GUILTY TO ACCEPTING BRIBES - CAPT DANIEL DUSEK SAYS HE LEAKED SHIP MOVEMENT INTEL TO CRIMINAL MASTERMIND ("FAT LEONARD" FRANCIS) OF GLENN DEFENSE MARINE ASIA IN EXCHANGE FOR CASH, GIFTS AND PROSTITUTES - 26-YEAR NAVY VETERAN FACES UP TO FIVE YEARS IN PRISON WHEN HE IS SLATED TO BE SENTENCED IN APRIL © 2015 MilitaryCorruption.com Just four more years. That's all it would have taken for Navy CAPT Daniel Dusek to reach the 30-year service mark and retire on 75% base pay. Now, he stands a chance of seeing part of those years looking out through prison cell bars. The Oregon native and ROTC graduate could get up to five years in the slammer when he is sentenced in San Diego in April. Dusek is just the latest Navy officer to admit guilt on leaking ship movement information to a crooked port-of-call contractor and "steering" big warships - like the mammoth carrier the USS Abraham Lincoln - into docking facilities controlled by Glenn Defense Marine Asia Ltd. MALAYSIAN MILLIONAIRE RIPPED OFF U.S TAXPAYERS GDMA was run by "Fat Leonard" Francis, a Malaysian millionaire whose firm has been providing U.S. Navy vessels with food, fuel, water and waste disposal at various Southeast Asia ports, from Thailand to Japan, for many years. So important was Dusek to 300-pound "Fat Leonard's" bottom line, the criminal mastermind bragged the four-striper was his "golden asset." He wasn't the only one, dear reader. Be sure to read the related-stories box below this article to see how widespread was the greed and corruption among some senior-ranking U.S. Naval officers. CAPTAIN'S WIFE AND FAMILY VICTIMS, TOO In Dusek's case, he traded an otherwise sterling military record and fat pension someday, for about $10,000 worth of free hotel rooms, luxury gifts and the services of prostitutes in Manila, Hong Kong and other points in Southeast Asia. That won't make his wife a happy camper. She and their children had unknowingly gone on an all-expense-paid Hawaiian vacation, thanks to Fat Leonard's largesse. It was only after the NCIS caught up with the captain that she learned her husband had been rolling in the hay with whores, and could have brought home a "bad bug" for her if he'd been unlucky. What Dusek has done, is shame the Navy and send a message in this age of terrorism. If senior commanders "sell out" ship movement information to a rat like Francis, then our warships and their crews will be put in danger. The Pentagon better not try a "slap-on-the-wrist" for the corrupt Navy commanders, or the two admirals who are said to have been involved (at least by knowing about the bilking of taxpayers and doing nothing about it) because, if they do that, it will damage the Navy like nothing since the bad old days of "Tailhook," some 25 years ago.
