How long until they just shoot him, like Anwar Sadat? I'm sure there are plenty of radical Muzzies and neo-cons who fervently would like to see that happen. Hopefully, his security is top-notch and he will be able to continue his campaign to bring sensibility and tolerance to that part of the world. His recent speech to Muslim Imans telling them that they needed to shape up was an eye-opener, too.
Here is a textbook example of his bravery. Merely a few weeks before he marched into a Christian Church in Cairo to wish them "Merry Christmas" and to proclaim that they are just are all Egyptians together, he dared to say this directly to some of the leading Muslim Imans in the world. I noticed that some of them didn't look too happy in the crowd, lol.
He needs to remains tough. If you show restraint in that part of the world it can be fatal. Nasser sent Qutb to the gallows, Sissi needs to do the same with Morsi and company. People in the US will whine about human rights when that happens, tough. The Shah listened to Jimmy Carter's nonsense about human rights, and we see where that went. Algeria should serve as the role model, they did what it took, which was an iron fist, which is appropriate for the Middle East.
A good move for him. He looks a bit like Sadat.
