This one goes out to all the people who think cats are evil. You are (mostly) wrong. A tabby cat named Masha found an abandoned baby on the streets of Obninsk in western Russia, and snuggled up to it to keep it warm until help arrived.
Yahoo reports that local woman Irina Lavrova had gone out to put rubbish in the bin when she heard the cat meowing loudly.
When she went to investigate, she discovered a baby boy lying in a cardboard box, with Masha next to him.

Normal body temperature for people is 98.6° F.
Normal body temperature for cats is 101.5° F.
So while kitties love to snuggle up to try to keep warm, it was probably the baby who benefited the most from this natural behavior.
