Two stars from the Seattle Seahawks took time away from the field to cut an ad shilling for Obamacare.
The ad, posted Friday, features Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and rhetorically explosive cornerback Richard Sherman touting the benefits of President Obama’s healthcare law and its web portal Healthcare.gov.
Wilson urges viewers to “make the right call” and sign up while Sherman adds, “when your health or the game is on the line, nothing is more important than quality coverage.
Not mentioned are the very real costs Obamacare foists on millions of Americans:
Wilson and Sherman are certainly not the first celebrities from the entertainment and sports world to be enlisted to help sell Obamacare. But, flashy celebrities cannot obscure what Obamacare is, its true cost, and its disastrous consequences.
What is more sickening about this is that these two wealthy idiots are being paid taxpayer dollars to propagandize the Obamacare disaster.
I heard a great line the other day about Obamacare. It is working great, for the people it's working for. You just have to ignore all the other people it is screwing over.
I have a sort of natural problem with the Seahawks, being a 49er fan since Kezar, but this takes the cake. -- Those two fool's have NO idea how repulsive this is...
I'm inclined to give these two a pass on this. Their degrees in Black History and Basket Weaving didn't teach them critical thinking,and they have been hit in the head a LOT over a long period of years.
