If anybody has any suggestions for improvements that could be made here at Liberty's Flame then we would like to hear them. I've noticed one or two on other threads but I ask you to put them here if you don't mind to make them easier to keep track of. Thank you.

However, the forum software does allow category filters. So you can unsubscribe to a particular category and never see it in your sidebar and such. Neil re-enabled category filtering recently at LP but we never got a chance to see if it would help much. It is still disabled here at LF but, if enabled, you get to choose what categories you see from the Content Filters page. (The Categories list appears between the Bozo list and the Ignored Threads list.) But if you have certain flamebait topics that almost always go bad, maybe they should be segregated. I know a lot of women posters just do not want to read that much swearing and hostile language. They don't complain. They just stop posting and the forum suffers. LP would have been a lot more peaceful if we had had a category for Policing and another for Conspiracy (including Truthery). LF should also have a clear policy on retitling articles, especially making flamebait titles. A clarification is one thing "2016 Race Frontrunner [Jeb!]" as the square brackets make clear what part was added. But something like "Police chief arrested for shooting wife" doesn't need to be retitled as "Porker pig honcho blah-blah-blah". It's too flamey. It will be easier for the Devil if he and Stone come to some agreement on retitling policy which is a surprisingly recurrent problem. Since I don’t think you are evil and don’t intend to do bad things or make trouble, I will henceforth always refer to you as, Sue. Sue, your narcissistic life becomes an open book when you quote yourself in your first post. It is your nature to try and show how smart you are. Therefore, why bother with trying to maintain a secret identity when everyone can easily deduct who you really are anyway? If everyone doesn’t already know who you are, the certainly do now.

It is too! I am the mighty and powerful Mod! Some things never change. Writing style is one of them. Everyone uses certain techniques that makes a writer’s style easy to recognize. Once a writing style is developed, it stays with you like a fingerprint thus making both easily recognizable features. Choice of words, sentence structure, syntax and prolific posting routine are all dead giveaways. The study of linguistic style, stylometry, has been used to out the authors behind some of history’s most disputed documents. Stylometry examines word choice; the frequency, sequence, and length of words; and other telling tendencies. There is software that helps identify anonymous writers. It was analysis software that wrecked J.K. Rowling’s anonymity and the literary world found out that Robert Galbraith the author of The Cuckoo’s Calling was J.K. Rowling the author of Harry Potter. The typical methods of evading detection by using different IP addresses or posting under an anonymous name no longer apply. There is nowhere left to hide on the Internet now. Anonymity is a thing of the past. The release of the open source tool, JStylo, which is used to identify all the secret forum contributors is being deployed to strip away all masks. Anyone who know you, TooConservative, can easily recognize your writing style. If they couldn’t, then they can recognize the frequency magnitude in the number of posts one sees from you as another dead giveaway. On different note, your much needed service to LF will be of great benefit. As you have previously acknowledged on LP, the activity on forums is feeling the effects of competing forums, Facebook, blogs and so on….all decreasing forum activity. The distractions of iphone games also contribute to the loss. Forum members need to be motivated and be shown good reason to post on LF. They need to have a desire strong enough that they will choose LF over every other distraction to consume their finite time, including cross-posting in other forums. People really desire to participate in active conversations. There must be ways found to get those conversations started and keep them going. You have two, three or maybe a couple more people on LF that contribute nothing, all the do is take pot shots at others. Their activity needs to be curtailed. That does not mean banning them, it means redirecting their interests into informative and productive posts. There can be no doubt from anyone who knows you, TooConservative, that you can greatly improve LF. I suggest Stone needs to stop the amateurish and melodramatic hibachi-style theater antics. Quit trying to disguise someone behind the mysterious character of Devil Anse. It is a self-delusion that creates nothing. So take William Anderson "Devil Anse" Hatfield back to where you dug him up from in the Sarah Ann Hatfield Cemetery in Sarah Ann, West Virginia, and lay him back to rest. Then get on with the primary business at hand….improving LF to attract new members.

It isn't tooconservative. I'm not lying to you. The original post was a quote he must have seen from tooconservative and posted it because he thought it was constructive. You are free to disbelieve if you wish. But i'm telling you the truth. I probably wont discuss this anymore or much more. Thanks again for signing up and I think you will make good contributions here if you decide to stick around.
And most of the fire and smoke comes on a handful of topics. Like conspiracy (including Truthing) and policing. I wouldn't have chosen that name. Too easy to start in with stuff like "the Devil made me do it", etc. Or Devil Arse, or The Devil (which I already used playfully). I probably shouldn't confirm it to protect the new mod's identity but Stone told you the truth. I am not the Devil. (See what I mean? Who can resist all those devil puns?)
