That is why I started the Rest In Peace Goldi ping list. It was obvious that there a quite a few ex-LPers here, many of which seem to be bitter and have nothing good to say about LP or Goldi. I wanted to provide something of a quite safe harbor to let the newcommers here, like myself, acclimate to this forum before the exs spew their vitroil and gloating over the passing of LP with Goldi. Little did I expect that Too Conservative to be one of those snakes in the grass. Just goes to show you that nothing should be taken for granted. In any event' if in a few couple of weeks there is no interest in the ping list I will delete it.

I was going to delay coming here based on just work I am doing and finding time but I am hearing reports of new fighting in Ukraine over that disputed airport.

It's the two new unknown sock puppets that you need the ring for. I don't care if people have had multiple IDs as long as they're honest about it. If they're playing games and hiding who they are, you know they're up to no good.

Calling the different names I used a sockpuppet is a stretch. I never posted simultaneously with two different account names. It is not like the name I pick for an online forum can not change like a SS card or my driver's ID. It is not like these names I use for forums are copyrighted or in any way my real names. I may change my name on forums. But I don't have multiple accounts on each forum playing games or pretending I am a group ganging up on someone or on a topic.
Only a little. I would call them retread accounts if you got banned, like at TOS, and came back under a new handle. Then there are sleepers or zombie accounts, extra IDs for making mischief. I see your point that you were actively posting (and not to disrupt) under each handle in succession. So retread is probably more accurate. I'm not sure that being a retread is that much more dignified than a sockpuppet. These terms get used loosely.
Yes, retread is accurate - same person returning as a different account name and I really never tried to hide it. Sockpuppet is like having a gaggle of fake names who you pretend are different people agreeing with your main current account --- which I have never done.
