Thank you. I thought hard on joining another forum. Yours came recommended by a friend poster on LP. My hopes are high. Do you have posted rules, expectations, taboos, etc?
I don't have any posted rules really. Lately I've just been letting everyone say what they want. Unless of course it was something really bad/illegal. I don't know exactly how to say it. By you being considerate and asking that question i'm sure whatever you say here will be just fine. Hope I don't disappoint on your expectations.
Not at all. I just wanted to make sure that I didn't violate any taboos, e.g. do not post anything sourced from the Washington Post. I suspect that you already know this, but I am not a retread on your forum. I also suspect that you know that you have some ugly, mean spirirted posters here as well. I will try not to be one of those. It is inevitable that my posting style, choice of pet words, etc. will reveal to those paying attention my posting name at LP. In the interim I am trying to get the lay of the land here in the hope that this will replace LP as my one and only posting forum.
Like I said. Welcome. You don't have to reveal yourself. People don't have to use a screen name just because they used it somewhere else. Maybe you want a little anonymity.
