The way I see it, it is a living tribute to what Goldi created and her memory will live on if it does. I think she'd want the show to go on in her absence. Like she'd want her cat taken care of too. As for the two candidates - either one would be fine with me - so that might make things a bit complicated in the vote gathering. sysadmin should unban tpaine at this time for obvious reasons. Yeah I can say whatever I want. Christine didn't like that, neigher did Robin. Goldi didn't either. She banned me for posting an article from infowars years ago. Having said that I liked Goldi better then christine or Robin. She ran the site better.
I can't recollect exactly why she banned me. I think the final straw was when I offered to donate to her site if she reinstated buckeroo. I think I was accused of blackmail or sumpin. I yanked her chain once too many. I admit to being a wise guy. I hold no bitterness about it. I'll not beg my way back there though. I haven't seen buckeroo in ages. Is he still ticking? Remember the Talking Mouse episode? I'm glad I can smile about old times.
Buckeroo was a pain in the butt. But I actually liked him and he made some good posts that were interesting to read.

Well, he fooled me. If that is the case then I can't predict the future of elPee. New ownership by you or Destro would be the best outcome IMO. Some fuddy duddies are voting to close it down! I don't get it.

sysadmin already stated that in its present form LP would cost next to nothing going forward. Now if the place gets a bunch of new posters and the new owner makes "improvements" then that could change.

In my opinion he wants to run LP, and he's set up the vote (and he's keeping me banned) to insure that outcome. --- He keeps claiming he doesn't want LP, but his actions belie him. Thanks, but I doubt I'll 'win', seeing that probably at least half of the votes have (already) gone to #3, or #4. If the vote count reaches a total of 25 for those two options, (considering LP has approx 100 active posters) I won't be the 'owner'.... Thanks again, murron, for your support...
As long as sysadmin refuses to allow tpain an opportunity to speak for himself, there will always be a cloud over how serious he was, or his true intentions and motives. It will aways be his word, his word we can't see or hear, against vicious rumors and nasty innuendo's. tpain can't dispel anything as long as he is locked out.

And you can bet the farm, if he's elected, all we're going to hear from now on is how is didn't want LP, how LP is messing with his personal life...blah...blah..blah...if he's that unhappy with what he's done so far, he really should back off and allow others here who would enjoy this site a little more.

I think it's completely fair that you stay banned. It's his site and he thinks you deliberately put him in legal jeopardy. Why should he have to let you post? As far as he's concerned your banning is self-inflicted.

. Here is a link. Last I knew Goldie had no next of kin. sysadmin couldn't get much info-he isn't next of kin. Don't know any immediate family. Don't know what she died of. sysadmin called the officers and they found her after doing a wellness trip. sysadmin works on Goldie's site.
