I will provide this input: Shutting down elPee is a bad option regardless of what A K A Stone thinks. The way I see it, it is a living tribute to what Goldi created and her memory will live on if it does.
I think she'd want the show to go on in her absence. Like she'd want her cat taken care of too.
As for the two candidates - either one would be fine with me - so that might make things a bit complicated in the vote gathering.

I've had an extended email exchange with the sysadmin. In my opinion he wants to run LP, and he's set up the vote (and he's keeping me banned) to insure that outcome.

That is one of the reasons he lost my vote, childishly using his powers to silence a fellow candidate in an election.
Some don't think he's serious about his offer. His voice could dispel those opinions.
sysadmin already stated that in its present form LP would cost next to nothing going forward. Now if the place gets a bunch of new posters and the new owner makes "improvements" then that could change.

As long as sysadmin refuses to allow tpain an opportunity to speak for himself, there will always be a cloud over how serious he was, or his true intentions and motives. It will aways be his word, his word we can't see or hear, against vicious rumors and nasty innuendo's.
tpain can't dispel anything as long as he is locked out.
