Jwpegler fancies him a minister these days. Regularly mocking "fundies" which just means christians. So LP's circus clown had the ignorance/stupidity to post It is. After all, it's nothing but what the Lord taught the Apostles. Jesus's specific quotes on homosexuality: .. he doesn't mention it. As I've said many times, fundamentalists who run around screaming and hollering about gays are more like Old Testament Jews than New Testament Christians. But their self-righteous anger is very selective and quite incomplete...

We thought that they were nuts. 45 years later and I still think that they are nuts. My most well remembered thing about Halloween was the Switzer family. They had close to 3 acres full of trees and they would decorate the whole yard and interior of the house. They would leave the door open and everybody was welcome inside for candy, cake and cider, there was always a big crowd there. You know for some reason I can't seem to remember if there were any fundamentalist families around when I was out Trick or Treating. I guess the only thing on my mind was having fun and eating candy, my the world sure has changed!
Lol...+100. We remember fun innocuous costumes, devoid of 6' tall "kids" dressed as...big, stupid, rude kids. 1960s Halloween Kid logic: 1) Am I getting good candy? Money = Acceptable. An apple = :-( 2) I hope it's chocolate. 3) I'll start early and end late -- and spread out my goodies like treasure at the end. 4) *NOTE: STAY AWAY FROM THOSE FUNDIES!!........(Oh wait...)
Where I grew up in "Yawnkers" it seemed everyone was either Catholic, Eastern Orthodox or Jewish. There were a few JWs in other neighborhoods. No Mormons locally. They used to come down from White Plains in a bus, dismount and ride around on bikes.
