The problem is not and never has been with her. It's been with you and people like you,who blindly jump on any bandwagon that comes around if the person happens to say one or two of the root things you believe in.
I have been saying for years that Coulter isn't a conservative. What she IS,is a self-promoting opportunist. She got out of law school,looked around and figured out there were no real openings for semi-hot (if you like skinny women)women with socialist viewpoints because the field was already crowded,so she invented herself as a conservative babe spokescritter. Most everybody conservative celebrated because it reinforced their views that they were "winning" and because most of them didn't really pay any attention to what she says and does.
What she says and does and what she has always said and done was thrown verbal bombs to get herself involved in controversy in order to sell her books and pump up her speaking fees.
Coulter hasn't changed a bit. The only thing that has changed is you are now starting to pay attention to what she says.
BTW,you are no conservative,either. You are,at BEST a fascist,because IF you were a conservative you would recognize the FACT that homosexual Americans have the same rights as the rest of us BECAUSE THEY ARE AMERICANS. No,you don't have to like them,but you DO have to admit they have the same rights as the rest of us.

The element of sex, and the legal recognition of spousal rights are two very different considerations. It is very possible that "Gay Marriage" will become, not only legal everywhere in this great nation, but increasingly common. So what then? What will you do? Will this even be a talking point for conservatives in two years? Where will you guys go from here?
The post modern understanding of passing laws has a few elements previous generations would not understand and in many cases would not approve of. Some of the elements evoking this post modern follow: The first is the notion of passing a law to enforce a tolerance or acceptance of a particular view or practice. People are usually free to exercise such but view societal norms don't accept them the way they feel they should be. So the law becomes a means to do so. I am reminded of a late 90s forum discussion I had with a homosexual man. He said, back then, that gays just wanted to be left alone and allowed to transfer their wealth and possessions to their life partners. He said all the gay community wanted was legal civil unions to enact this. Back then I pointed out going to a local lawyer and paying a few hundred bucks gets you the same thing. So that was the right before Y2K. A few years later the full push for civil unions. Well it was spun then as addressing the legal and financial issues of homosexuals who had Same sex partners. Most Americans looked at that and said ok, it's not marriage they are looking for but a legal means to take care of estate and benefits. So most Americans left that alone being the fair minded folks they thought they were. However the homosexual lobby saw it as chum in the water. They went for more. That is why starting with the 2004 presidential primaries we started to see candidates asked about gay marriage. Ten years later we have it and in over 90% of the States that have it, it was an activist court enacting it against the will of the States and their people. And not only that, somehow we allowed state and federal agencies creep into our schools via some "in name" good causes using those resources to teach tolerance from a homosexual perspective. Now the very word tolerance is good. It means you have a view, I have one and we depart peacefully not convincing the other. We tolerate each other. That is not what the homosexual lobby wants today, and frankly ever did want. What they seek is acceptance. They see it as they are different, want everyone to accept they are normal folk like everyone else. When even good hetero folk said go ahead live your life the way you want but I don't have to accept you but tolerate you, the homosexual lobby raised the flag higher. The lobby moved from acceptance to enforcement through laws, education and litigation. That is where we are today. So we are at an indoctrination and enforcement phase of a clever lobby. One could almost call it an Alinsky like playbook, but that gets thrown around as much as Nazi model. All of which is happening in the USA and almost exclusively through the Judicial branch. Don't think Thomas Paine (the real one) saw that coming to this country. So the greater question is why would Americans stand for this manipulation? I wonder too. Those who want to change our constitution and nation just took 25 years to fly their test balloon. Now they know how to manipulate the nation. Through guilt, manipulation and when those don't work through litigation and eventual bankruptcy. I am sure you noticed I did not mention above the Bible or our Christian founding. The reason is We the people have fashioned our own gold calf and will suffer the consequences.
