SEATTLE (Reuters) - A man armed with a shotgun opened fire on Thursday at a small Christian college in Seattle, killing one person and wounding two others before he was subdued by a group of students and arrested, Seattle police and hospital officials said.
A fourth person was injured in the struggle with the gunman, police said.
The Seattle Police Department said via Twitter that Aaron Ybarra, 26, had been booked into King County Jail for the shooting at Seattle Pacific University.
The lone suspect, who was not a student, entered an academic building of the university in the late afternoon and shot three people, police said.
He was disarmed as he paused to reload his gun and was pepper-sprayed by a student security guard.

Adam Lanza killed 26 people 18 months ago, yet his story was top page news until another pseudo white guy killed 6 people with a knife and gun last week.
In those 18 months approx 12000 people were killed by guns and nothing in the news. Why? because these were shootings by people of color.
The only shootings that make it to the news nationally are those committed by whites or close enough that they can be classified as white.
