Michael Woody said officers believe the driver pulled over to check on the child after he was hit around 4:10 p.m. He was then assaulted by people in the neighborhood near Morang and Balfour streets. “Our chief indicated there was a large group of approximately 30 or more people,” Woody said. “But that’s not to say they all took part in the assault, but they did come out to assist the child, and it was a large group at that time. People comment on these articles because of their complete frustration with the black community at large. Story after sick and disturbing story is told day after day involving blacks and violent crime. Yes, other races commit crimes.... but NOTHING like the frequency of young black males - especially when blacks make up only 14% of the population (young black males only 5%!!). If this was a white mob beating up somebody it would make NATIONAL NEWS. Blacks would be rioting and celebrities would denounce the racism of whites. Reversed, it's hushed and taken in as a routine story. If anyone comments honestly on the subject matter, people like u scream racism. Were these people acting like animals, beating an unarmed man probably to death? Of course they were! That is NOT "normal", civilized behavior. That is ruthless and unconscionable. And guess what - ANYONE who acts that way would be described as an animal. You should be offended by the truth NOT because they were called animals, but because of the commonality of violent black behavior.
