But what have you performed to prepare for disaster from any force whether manmade or natural? Let's be honest. Our country really isn't "a mess" - nor are our states, counties, or cities. There are a lot of places in the world that are in bad shape, here in the USA, that is not the case. Now, natural disasters are another story. Sometimes they happen. The biggest threats we have in central Ohio are tornadoes and ice storms/blizzards. In the event of either, lack of utilities for a week or so would be the worst part.We have plenty of water and non-perishables, a fireplace, and a gas grill. We'd be fine. We usually have one or two bad storms a year and at least one major winter event. Worst case, we have plenty of family, friends and neighbors nearby.
