I told him that my father was partly responsible, because he had released [the Islamists] from prison, believing that they could join the fabric of Egyptian society again.
Interviewer: That's a brave thing to say.
Camelia Sadat: But it turned out that he was wrong, when he paid the highest price possible his life.

Camelia Sadat: Every time, they have destroyed themselves with their terrorism. They will never change. It all starts with the pledge of allegiance to the General Guide. I have read all about their history
How is the pledge performed? They place one hand on the Koran and the other on a pistol. Both at the same time
There is no distinction between the two.
