College-aged support for libertarians and Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) represents the United States' "only hope" in politics, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange told Campus Reform early Friday morning. WATCH: Wikileaks founder Julian Assange praises young libertarians “The only hope as far as electoral politics… presently, is the libertarian section of the Republican party,” said Assange, in response to a question about the recent swell of college-aged and youth-based support for libertarianism. “The libertarian aspect of the Republican Party is presently the only useful political voice really in the U.S. Congress,” said Assange. “[I] am a big admirer of Ron Paul and Rand Paul for their very principled positions in the U.S. Congress on a number of issues.” Assange, who was speaking in an online video forum, hosted by the transparency organization OurSay.org, also praised American Journalist Matt Drudge saying he is responsible for breaking down the “self-censorship” of the American mainstream media. "Matt Drudge is a news media innovator... It is as a result of the self-censorship of the establishment press in the United States that gave Matt Drudge such a platform and so of course he should be applauded for breaking a lot of that censorship,” said Assange, Assange, who is currently running for Senate in Australia, answered questions via a google hangout in front of a live studio audience in Melbourne, Australia. Assange running his campaign from the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, where sought political asylum more than 400 days ago.

Assange is a polarizing figure as are the two he is praising. I used to have Drudge as my home page, but that was years ago.
I used to have Drudge as my home page, but that was years ago. Discribing a person as 'polarizing' could mean several things. A polarized person tends to divide people into groups, supporters who love them, while their detractors hate them, with very little middle ground, except maybe those who are indifferent...which ususally discribes the way I feel about political propaganda with no factual evidence to back it up. Which way do you swing, Fred? btw, I still look in on Drudge, there are still a lot of interesting articals and news posted that come from many other news sources...what Drudge thinks, or posts himself, doesn't interest me in the least.

Matt Drudge and Rand Paul are genuine Americans, instead of NWO globalist Kenyans (Obama), Panamanians (McCain), Mexicans (Romney), Cubans (Rubio), India (Jindhal), and Canadians (Cruz). Fred might be polarized by looking at Americans on the ballot? Paul & Drudge don't even have illegal alien parents! I wonder if Drudge would accept the VP slot on a ticket with Rand? Drudge might be too young. I believe that 35 is the minimum for prez.
I don't know much about where Drudge stands on the issues, but I will be researching him closer. As for Rand Paul? He still thinks there are only 12 million illegals in this country, and we can't deport 12 million people. He actually thinks he can make honest working tax payers out of them...yeah, their all going to give up all their freebies and work for a living...lol... If he thinks we can't get 12 million back across the border where they belong, who the hell thinks he could ever deal with the 50 or so million that are lurking in the shadows all over this nation? Every damn one of them are going to demand political asylum... Right now, I would rather give Rand Paul a PUNCH in the face, than my vote! He's just another freaking bleeding heart, looking out for the safty and comfort and welfare of criminals, instead of the Americans who deserve better. jmho! Dick Nixon took the US off of the silver standard. Unfortunately Rand is a REAL Republican, like Bush, McCain, and Romney... a reconquista. Neither wing of the D&R party thinks of America as a sovereign nation with clearly defined borders. They sold out to the globalist banksters long ago, and jobs were outsourced to China, Mexico, Japan, Canada... anywhere but the USA. The body of my '94 Chevy PU was made in Canada. If the sheeple keep voting D&R we'll soon be like Greece and Spain where the serfs riot demanding more government handouts. The financial model is unsustainable. The gov needs to declare bankruptcy, abolish the Federal Reserve ponzi scheme, take the hit and restore sound money based on Gold and Silver as mandated by the Constitution. You probably recall when bills said "pay to the bearer upon demand ($1, 5, 10, etc.) in silver. Iceland did something like this, and they recovered and starting doing well in a short time. The corrupt D&R crime family won't do it, they're riding the Titanic all the way to the bottom. I can't blame you for wanting to punch Rand Paul in the face.
Ron Paul is a pro-American RINO, but Rand seems more like a REAL Republican globalist traitor.
I like Rand better. Ron wasn't even for a constitutional ban on abortion. Ron was good but if your honest kind of kooky on some issues. Rand is Rons good ideas without the kookiness.
