A woman allegedly related to George Zimmerman and his family told investigators that members of Zimmerman’s family were boastfully proud racists and that Zimmerman sexually molested her for several years. “It started when I was six,” the woman told investigators in 2012. “We’d all lay in front of the TV and we had pillows and blankets and he would reach under the blankets and try to do things and I would try to push him off but he was bigger and stronger and older,” the woman said, audibly weeping in the Florida State Attorney’s Office interview recording released Monday. “It was in front of everybody and I don’t know how I didn’t say anything, I just didn’t know any better.” A number of news sources have reported that the woman is a relative of the Zimmerman family, though her exact relationship to Zimmerman was redacted from the interview recording. Zimmerman’s legal team, in a statement released in 2011, identified the woman as a cousin. “We’ve known about this since the beginning but out of respect to her privacy, her emotional state, we haven’t said anything,” Natalie Jackson, an attorney for the family of victim Trayvon Martin, told The Huffington Post. It’s becoming painfully clear that the jurors in George Zimmerman’s murder trial acquitted a killer who had a history of violence, disruption and child sexual molestation. According to reports by Huffington Post, a female cousin of Zimmerman came forward to report the sexual abuse she experienced as a child. During an interview with investigators in March 2012, the woman said, “It started when I was 6. We’d all lay in front of the TV and we had pillows and blankets and he would reach under the blankets and try to do things and I would try to push him off but he was bigger and stronger and older. It was in front of everybody and I don’t know how I didn’t say anything, I just didn’t know any better.” The woman said Zimmerman would fondle her and penetrated her vagina with his fingers. She also revealed that Zimmerman molested other young girls. She spoke with a woman who was molested by Zimmerman as a youth, but the woman wanted to maintain her privacy. When she was 12 years old, Zimmerman made her rub his penis. Other times, he would take her to vacant rooms and kiss and fondle her. The woman said she believes Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin over race because of his family’s racist past. She said the Zimmerman and his mother would often make racist comments when in their home. The woman, who is Puerto Rican and Argentinean, said Zimmerman’s mother resented her because she wasn’t white. Zimmerman’s attorneys fought to keep the woman’s testimony out of the trial and Judge Nelson agreed with the defense. Prosecutors, who did a horrible job that borders on criminal negligence, should have fought harder to make these facts known to the jurors. So no 'allegation' topics to be posted unless one is charged? Does that hold true across the board or only in certain instances? Time will tell on this one and take it down if you must. I thought Zimmerman's mother was Hispanic. So how could the above statement be true? Yeah, I call BS on this and the molestation piece is not new news at all. It surfaced around this time last year. I guess Brian S is just recycling the garbage again.

I believe that bringing of such charges is time barred by the Florida Statute of Limitations. It would not be barred by the current Statute but by the one prior to June 26, 2010. A revised statute of limitations cannot be applied to a crime that occurred prior to the revision. Doing so would be a violation of the ex post facto provision of the Constitution. The audio tapes of the relevant interview were released by the prosecution (Angela Corry) about a year ago, at which time the story was carried by MSM. The audio is available at the Orlando Sentinel.
Tell that to Bill Clinton and his post facto tax increase.
