Another possibility I thought about was that you and yucklown could have been in the same insane asylum with Internet privileges and used the same common area computer and pebbles came up with the matching IPs that way.
Could be that Mad Dog and yukon use the same ISP (Internet Service Provider) in Alaska, so the first three sets of numbers (or so) being the same means nothing. IP's are mostly assigned randomly (DHCP - Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) out of the pool of numbers owned by the ISP. When you hook up, a different IP is assigned each time. A small percentage of people have fixed IP addresses. I suspect that Stone jumped to a conclusion based on insufficient evidence, again.
I prefer my theory over yours.

When I posted on FreakRepublic some of us posted from the same office building and we had nearly identical IPs. I assume you'll admit to being a dumbass and apologize.
