What if Trayvon Martin was going to the store one day. He was going to get some skittles and something to drink. He got some skittles and some Arizona fruit punch. He was walking home and he saw this guy following him. The guy followed him into the dark. Trayvon got scared. Thought a crazy ass cracker was stalking him. So he ran into the dark to hide and watch. The guy was still there walking around. Trayvon fearing for his life attacks Zimmerman and kills him. Zimmerman is found with a gun. If those of us who support the verdict are consistent. Would we have to say Trayvon would have been not guilty as well? I have a bit of mixed feelings on this. Put it this way. Say Clint Eastwood was going to get something to eat one day. He saw some Mexican looking guy following him. He leads the man following him into the dark then runs and disappears. He then attacks and kills the man following him. Would you cheer? I know Trayvon isn't Clint Eastwood. Just something to think about.
