Can This Place Rock Again?

I think it can.

You think you think.

This place is dead. Pull the plug on it, because your continuing to even put money up for the bandwidth is cash down the shitter.

And the irony is, you've only yourself to blame. Didn't take out the trash (trolls), combined with your religious zealoutry, and a penchant for vengeance upon the LP pig...

You had the ability to make this place something good. And you blew it.

First time back in 4-5 months, and this is the thread I see... A bunch of us told you... but you didn't want to listen.

NOW you ask the question... 2 years too late.

Feh.

You weren't missed. If you hate religion you should fit in with the faggots. Go marry one Obama supporter.

This is not an atheist site.

You weren't missed. If you hate religion you should fit in with the faggots. Go marry one Obama supporter.

Your condescending attitude combined with, (or perhaps because of) your religious zealoutry, demonstrates why your site is dead.

And while I'm not an atheist, my personal religious viewpoints remain just that- personal.

Wearing your beliefs on your sleeve, does not make one a good Christian. It doesn't even make one a good person. I've seen so many examples of the "shout on Sunday, doubt on Monday" crowd, that I'm sick of the overt hypocrisy of such people. What one believes is a personal thing. You make it a test, thereby proving that for all your words, you don't really understand what religion is even about.

Instead of following the Golden Rule, you push the "us versus them" mentality, which makes you no better the schmucks arguing in a bar over who was the best quarterback in 1982. You completely miss the point, and are instead driven by anger and hatred of those who don't think as you do, who don't value what you do, and don't believe as you do.

Instead of religion making you a better man, you've corrupted your religion, and the sickness that lies inside you, has metastasized, and hollowed you out...

In the same manner, you apparently started this forum with good intentions- and I applaud that. But you sabotaged your own efforts, with your religious exhortations, the name-calling and other behaviors (which in no way reflect the attitudes of good Christians), hollowing out the forum as you have been.

The forum is a direct reflection of you, Stone... and it's now as empty and meaningless as you have become.

And for both... you have my pity.

Again Eric. That describes you perfectly.

Me: Instead of following the Golden Rule, you push the "us versus them" mentality, which makes you no better the schmucks arguing in a bar over who was the best quarterback in 1982.

You: Again Eric. That describes you perfectly.

You are nothing if not predictable.

When faced with the choice, you chose the blue pill.

And you wonder why those who had the courage to take the red pill are no longer interested in visiting your forum?

I can understand why you chose the blue pill; it's easier to remain in the prison (where you get three squares a day) than it is to step outside that predictable, comfortable cell, isn't it?

I do, like many of you, appreciate the comforts of every day routine- the security of the familiar, the tranquility of repetition. I enjoy them as much as any bloke....

I thought we could ... have a little chat.

Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission.

How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror."

--

V for Vendetta--

And there you have it, stone. Your answer. But you're too much of an intellectual coward to ever admit it. And so your forum will continue to spiral down the shitter, precisely as it deserves.

Your mental stagnation no longer amuses me, so delete my account, and we're done.

I hope you find a good forum Eric, because you are a very good interlocutor on one. Stone was lucky you stopped in.

Stone is one of these people who like the Republicans to all be on message about how we need to change our laws to comport with God's Law, never mind the 1st Amendment that prohibits the establishment of a government sanctioned religion.

'God's Law' to the Stones of the world trumps the Constitution. And the Supreme Court is beginning to sanction this notion -- watch the outcome of the Hobby Lobby challenge to provisions in the Affordable Care Act based on religious beliefs.

Why doesn't the Republican Party simply drop the pretense and rename themselves the Bible or God's Law Party like Stone would want them to because that is what most of them are today anyway. And with the Supreme Court stacked with Catholic's, what is to stop them?

Of course it does dumb ass. The creation doesn't trump the creator.

Gods law also says you go to hell. Which I agree with. Go to hell Mike. You're moustly a useless human being.

You think race trumps the constitution. Hence you voting for Obama because ......(I self edited as not to be to mean).

"Of course it does dumb ass. The creation doesn't trump the creator."

The First Amendment provides freedom of religion. Your faith does not trump that.

"You think race trumps the constitution.

You are the useless pile of protoplasm that calls people the 'N' word, stupid. I did not vote for Obama in 2008 because of his race. Or I would of voted for him again just for that trivial piece of information about him.
