I think it can too,but the site owner needs to crank WAAAAAY back on his personal political opinions and stop scaring people off that hold difference opinions. Some anonymous poster jumping in another posters face is one thing. The site owner doing it is a completely different thing.
You do know who I'm talking about,right?
If you want to bring this site back to what it was before and even build on that,you MUST try to stay politically neutral on your own discussion boards. If you can't resist butting heads,register at another site under an anonymous screen name,and rant and rave to your hearts content. You just can't do it here.
Even then it's going to take a long time to bring it back because of the people you have already lost who told other people about your conduct here.
You and I have butted heads occasionally,but I never took it personal and it seems like you didn't,either. At any rate you never even threatened to ban me.
Like it or not,and fair or not,but the fact remains that there has been so many site owners in the past that turned into Site Nazi's that a lot of people just don't have the patience to deal with it anymore. They just move on and don't look back.
