At least two soldiers serving with the US-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan have died in a helicopter crash in the east of the country, the coalition has announced.
According to a statement released by ISAF on Tuesday, the cause of the helicopter crash is still under investigation.
The Western military coalition forces have not released the nationalities of the troopers or the exact location of the incident, but some sources in the NATO alliance said the soldiers were Americans.
An Afghan official, however, said the chopper crashed in an agricultural field in the Pachir Wagam district in Nangarhar Province on Tuesday morning.
