Most people don't know or care that the reason why married people were given things such as tax breaks was because they were thought to need some financial help because they had children thru their wedlock... So maybe if you took the married tax breaks away from those who don't have children born thru wedlock, $5 says the gays would then care less about being married...

I am hopeful that the SCOTUS not only agrees with this, but they see the issue as having no choice but to general a ruling for marriage for all. Doing it any other way would be blatantly unconstitutional.
