It always makes me sad to go there from the perspective of an early LP poster who was banned on a contrivance. I am proud and honored to stand up for what is right in the face of bait and hate on this issue. Those that would make this a wedge issue to try to marginalize people over a minor aspect of their humanity no more noteworthy than say whether one has brown or blue eyes or any other human attribute do as shallow and mean spirited cowards who deserve pity and scorn, nothing more. They try to steal social status, to knock others down to try to make themselves look taller without having to grow as human beings themselves. I really pity them.
Mike, God doesn't look upon homosexuality and lesbianism as a minor thing. The Holy Bible makes that quite clear. It is true that sin covers a wide range of thoughts and deeds. It is also true that all sins condemn a person to an eternity in The Lake of Fire. I really wish that you would take a good look at yourself and the mercy of God.
Yet according to your own Bible you are committing a sin, by pretending to know what God wants and thinks. And why would God punish humans for merely being created in his own image? Sounds like he has a rather satanic sense of humor. Plus the only individual Jesus says he loves in the Bible is a ....man.
All I have to do to know God's take on this thing, I merely need to read the Scriptures. Not knowing what God wants isn't a defense for you or anyone who fear to face God on Judgement. God made man in His image, true. He didn't make them sin in the Garden of Eden. You can't use that as an excuse either. You are saying that God is gay? No, that won't work as an excuse for you either. Christ died because He loves mankind, His Creation, not because He was perverted. That won't work for you either. You aren't doing too well here. You have run out of excuses, and that will be apparent to you when you face Christ on the Day of Judgement.
