I don't care a bit about homosexuality. To me personally, it's a disgusting perversion, but if some man wants to take another man up his ass and then in his mouth, that's his business. As long as it doesn't affect me, I don't care. I'm not even against gay marriage. Again, as long as it doesn't affect me, I could not care less. In fact I think a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage would conflict with the equal protections clause of the 14th.
Now, with all that said, the reason I like to give this particular dick sucker a hard time, is because this particular dick sucker uses his own homosexuality as a weapon, propositioning other men on political forums if he thinks he can gain an upper hand or advantage.

Those that would make this a wedge issue to try to marginalize people over a minor aspect of their humanity no more noteworthy than say whether one has brown or blue eyes or any other human attribute do as shallow and mean spirited cowards who deserve pity and scorn, nothing more.
They try to steal social status, to knock others down to try to make themselves look taller without having to grow as human beings themselves.
Mike, God doesn't look upon homosexuality and lesbianism as a minor thing. The Holy Bible makes that quite clear. It is true that sin covers a wide range of thoughts and deeds. It is also true that all sins condemn a person to an eternity in The Lake of Fire. I really wish that you would take a good look at yourself and the mercy of God.

There is no 11th commandment saying a thing about homosexuality.
And the few passages mentioned are open to interpretation.
Homosexuality in an imprinting of preference for sexual partner that merely defines who a person is and whom they have relationships with.
It has always been part of humanity, involves no victims and is not open to 'recruitment.'

Mike, I do have insight about this matter. I know that God exists and He rules over His Creation. Many say that God doesn't exist because He Isn,t in our face about sin at the moment. That He will tire of sin in His Creation Isn't something He has forgotten or will overlook. He is giving us time to repent. This time of waiting for mankind, or individuals time, is mercy on His part. God has already sent Christ to mankind as a peace offering or way back to Him. Rejection of Christ is a most efficient way to become a citizen of the Lake of Fire for all of eternity.
I respect your right to your religion, but I am not interested is a system of control that exists only to manage human populations at the expense of the sanctity and protection of all plant and animal life on this planet.
To Christianity, the right of rich to abuse and destroy entire biological biomes is absolute. Their right to abuse and oppress poor people absolute.
To Christianity, there is no need to worry about what happens in the here and now; just who goes where when they die.

I want to value and protect all living things and the webs of life; the biomes they live in. I want to address oppression of poor people by the rich and powerful now on planet Earth.

When the tapestry of life is unraveled to a large extent, we as a species endanger our collective existence too. And in regards to one class exploiting and oppressing the other, if we cannot ultimately help the many who are poor, we cannot save the few who are rich.
On Items 1 and 2, I don't know how to respond as I truly don't know what you are talking about.
The Christians I know are concerned about the here and now. We know that we are to live as much as possible to honor and glorify God by our actions and way of life. Yes, we are concerned about what happens in the afterlife. We do try to show people here the way to eternal life in a place far better than Hell. Why should we try to educate people about how they are to live as Christians if they aren't Christian. The lost can die at any time and it will be too late for them then. So yes, we do push accepting Christ as savior because that is the most immediate need for them. The here and now things can wait until they are Christian.
There are people who think that true Christianity, not the tv preachers who want you to send them money,is a con job because of the people who are in the preaching business simply to make money.
You talk about helping the poor. Many churches and other charities do things for the poor. The most important thing that we can do for them is show them the way to life with Christ in the here and now and the afterlife.
