Breaking News: Recent polls suggest the majority of Americans consider being called “Republican” insulting. The independent political polling company NSON Opinion Strategy [1] recently published the results of a case study in which 250,000 randomly selected American voters were asked a series of questions. The details of how and where the study was conducted have yet to be released but the results are clear: 87% of Americans consider the word “Republican” to be synonymous with greed, racism, and violence. Perhaps if the GOP really wants to reinvent themselves they will have to start with a new name.

The poll shows something intesting about political thought in this country in this time of political brinksmanship. You sound like you are trying to flame a non-existant woody with this post. You ever been to "Walking Man"? I always wanted to go,but never go around to it.
I like Burning Man. I've been to three and will go again this year. It is one of the few totally creative, free and exilerating events held in this coutry where live has been homoginized and stripped of adventure, unabashed playfulness and creativity. I recommend it.
My mistake. I meant Burning Man.
