Willie Nelson Ill, Postpones Clearwater Concert Willie Nelson's concert at Ruth Eckerd Hall is expected to be rescheduled for a later date. Due to flu-like symptoms, Willie Nelson has been forced to postpone tonight's concert at Ruth Eckerd Hall. A make-up date for the "Willie Nelson & Family" show will be announced soon, according to a news release from Ruth Eckerd Hall. For information on refunds or rescheduling, call the ticket office at (727) 791.7400. Ruth Eckerd Hall is at 1111 McMullen-Booth Road. The ticket office is open noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and one hour prior to showtimes. Nelson, 79, also had to postpone a concert Thursday night in Estero due to illness. In August, he had to cancel a Colorado appearance due to illness. A newspaper reported he was suffering from breathing problems due to the high altitude and emphysema. It's also not the first time Nelson has postponed a Clearwater show. A March 2009 concert was rescheduled due to illness.
