Hmmmm, maybe the east coast DNS server is working but not the Website Down one, and the one I'm using. It takes a while for the names data to propagate between the various servers.

This guy doesn't seem crazy. My guess would be that this interruption marks the spot at which all contacts with LP being routed by DNS's are now being routed through a Federal Government monitor. Therefore direct contact to LP by using the quatrain instead of the name would be recommended: 69.164.197.124 -- so you will stay off the list of people who are "associating" with each other at LP.
