Former vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan says he supports "the principles" of an immigration reform proposal from Republican Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, a sign that the party may be coalescing around its own plan to overhaul the nation's laws. "Senator Rubio is exactly right on the need to fix our broken immigration system," the congressman wrote on his Facebook page on Monday, with a link to a Wall Street Journal article that includes Rubio's key immigration goals. "I support the principles he’s outlined: modernization of our immigration laws; stronger security to curb illegal immigration; and respect for the rule of law in addressing the complex challenge of the undocumented population. Our future depends on an immigration system that works." Republicans and Democrats are both in the early stages of building coalitions for support for what could be a major immigration bill later this year. Rubio and Ryan, considered among Republicans to be possible future presidential candidates, appeared together at a dinner in Washington, D.C., in December, where they both outlined their visions for the party's future.

What does Mitt have to do with Ryan? Nothing.
Same party, same thought process... Looks like the Democrats will be getting elected until one of them declares himself/herself Emperor!!

Rand Paul and Olympia Snow are the same party and they don' have the same thought process. So your same party, same thought process doesn't cut it buddy.
When push comes to shove they'll both bow down and kiss Marco Rubio's ass.
It would take them two weeks to kiss Christie's butt.
It's Snowe with an 'e.' She cited hyper-partisanship leading to a dysfunctional Congress as her reason for not seeking reelection. Much of the problem she experienced is the lack of toleration in the GOP for moderate Repuplicans. Had the climate been better, she likely would still be in Washington.
Those who "moderate" their ethics, have none at all.
True. What makes his EO's different, is the fact that his are particularly egregious with regard to civil rights. His EOs are the blueprint for consolidation of government power. Simply study EO #13603. Tie that in with the NDAA, and you've got complete dictatorship. As in Stalin, or Hitler. Regardless of whether it's the left or right boot, I certainly don't want one on my neck! Do YOU?
Nah, sure don't on that one. I like to offer a semblance of a counterpoint to a graphic sent my way. I saw that one on the welcome page of Democratic Underground, so I presented it as food for thought, nothing more.
