Yes Tim Tebow.
The most famous back up/third string quarterback in the history of the NFL. Though I cant help but feel bad for him. I was one of his biggest fans last season as he became the most fun player to watch in all of football with his option offense and fourth quarter magic. The thing that probably entertained me the most was watching the so called experts scratch their heads while trying to come up for an explanation why he was winning but who could blame them?
On paper, he was just plain awful. His completion percentage was 46.5% and his QBR was 29.9. Yet, Tim Tebow went 8-4 on the year including a playoff win where he threw for 316 yards and two touchdowns. Tim Tebow is the biggest reason why stats dont matter. He does just enough to get that victory and thats all you can ask for. He has never failed once in his entire career. At Florida, he gets the starting job and wins a National Championship along with a Heisman.
