I was focusing on Europe, but didn't rule out anywhere, and it just so happens that the best offer I got was in Japan. Hope that clears it up.

Why? I was bored and looking for a change in my life, and after traveling in Europe and Asia, I thought it might be interesting to live and work abroad, so I started sending my resume out. I thought I'd prefer Europe, but if I found something in Asia, that would be OK too. And then I got the job offer in Tokyo, and went for it. I don't regret it for a moment. I've enjoyed living in Japan, and I met my current lover.

All American citizens have the same rights by virtue of being born Americans,and ALL Americans are equal in the eyes of the law. Anybody that doesn't agree with that has no right to call themselves Americans. That doesn't mean you,me,or anyone else is right when it comes to their personal opinions,but we/they DO have the RIGHT to hold those opinions.
